Role Description The Outside Sales Representative Mid-West plays a critical role in driving revenue growth by managing the entire sales process from lead generation to closing. As a member of the Sales organization, you will be responsible for engaging with prospects and customers to understand their needs, delivering tailored solutions that align with our product offerings, and collecting market insights and feedback. This role is ideal for someone who is intellectually curious, ambitious, and thrives in externally facing environments. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure a seamless customer experience and contribute to the overall success of the commercial organization. You will be based in the Mid West-near a major airport (i.e., Chicago, Minneapolis, Michigan), though we are open to candidates located geographically in the Mid West (remote). Work Position Goals - Drive new business by identifying and qualifying leads. - Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to foster loyalty and repeat business. - Promote the full portfolio of products and services to maximize customer value. - Ensure a smooth onboarding experience for new customers. - Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction through proactive engagement and support. - Collaborate with internal teams to align sales strategies with customer needs and market trends. Responsibilities and Duties - Manage the full sales cycle including prospecting, presenting, negotiating, and closing deals. - Conduct product presentations and demos tailored to customer needs. - Participate in trade shows, webinars, and workshops to promote products and generate leads. - Provide input to marketing campaigns and outreach strategies. - Maintain accurate records of sales activities and customer interactions in the CRM system. - Gather customer feedback and share insights with product and marketing teams. - Stay informed about industry trends, competitor offerings, and market dynamics. Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree required. Bachelor’s of Science in Biology, Biomedical Engineering, or a related field preferred; relevant experience may substitute for education. - 2-5 years of sales experience. - Prior customer-facing experience within the life sciences preferred. - Experience in sales, customer service, or business development is a plus. - Familiarity with CRM systems and sales tools would be advantageous. - Basic understanding of sales principles and techniques. - Basic understanding of cell biology preferred. - Interest in technology and innovation with strong communication and interpersonal skills. - Ability to analyze customer needs and propose appropriate solutions. Requirements - This is a field role; with the ability to travel as required to meet with clients and attend industry events. - Remote within the Territory, near a major airport preferably customer base (Chicago, MN). - Territory: WA, OR, ID, MT, WY, ND, SD, NE, MN, IA, WI, IL, MI, IN, OH and occasionally site visits in Canada. - Ability to lift and transport bioprinters (up to 70 lbs.). - Travel required to customer sites for training, support, and relationship management; a valid driver’s license is necessary and US Passport. - Ability to work flexible hours to accommodate customer needs. Role Description We are seeking top performing life science sales professionals based in the Mid-Atlantic. Territory includes Philadelphia, PA, WV, DE, and VA. The Regional Sales Manager is a top-performing microscopy sales professional with territory experience. The RSM must have demonstrated experience with fluorescence microscopy and live cell imaging. Employees must be currently located in the general sales area. Essential Functions: - Develop and grow sales of our award-winning hybrid microscopes. - Execute successful product demonstrations. - Create new opportunities on your own. - Build effective relationships with distributors and customers. - Negotiate configurations and pricing. - Meet quarterly and annual sales goals. - Work in a team selling environment with FAS and specialists. - Overnight travel is expected (amount is dependent on territory size). - Ability to lift between 50-60lbs. Role Description Biosero, part of the BICO group, develops innovative laboratory automation software and integrated solutions that accelerate scientific research and drug development for leading pharma and biotech organizations. The Director of Marketing for Biosero will own and drive Biosero’s marketing activities, focusing on lead generation, digital presence, and campaign performance in the lab automation market. This role combines strategic planning with hands-on execution in digital marketing, content creation, and event management. The Director of Marketing will collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners to plan, execute, track, and optimize campaigns that strengthen Biosero’s brand and generate pipeline. Some travel to Biosero hubs in the US and to key industry events is expected. Key Responsibilities - Own the Biosero marketing plan and calendar, aligning campaigns and activities with Biosero’s commercial goals and BICO’s overall marketing strategy. - Drive lead-generating activities across digital channels (website, SEO, paid search, paid and organic social, email marketing) and events, with clear targets for MQL and pipeline contribution. - Manage the lead management process end-to-end: from campaign setup and tracking, to scoring, qualification criteria, and timely handover of MQLs to sales through the CRM system. - Plan and execute major tradeshows, conferences, webinars, and partner events, including strategy, promotion, logistics coordination, on-site support, and post-event follow-up and reporting. - Manage day-to-day marketing operations, including campaign execution, social media activities, vendor coordination, and ensuring brand consistency in all touchpoints. - Lead and contribute to the creation of high-quality content tailored to key audiences in pharma, biotech, and advanced research, including web copy, blog posts, case stories, email campaigns, presentations, sales collateral, and social media content. - Monitor and optimize Biosero’s web and digital presence, collaborating with relevant teams on website structure, landing pages, conversion paths, and SEO best practices. - Implement and maintain robust tracking and reporting for all marketing activities (e.g., using analytics and CRM reports) to measure performance, ROI, and funnel health; recommend data-driven improvements. - Partner closely with Biosero sales and product/strategy stakeholders to refine messaging, prioritize campaigns, and align target accounts and buyer personas. - Collaborate with BICO’s central marketing organization to leverage shared tools, best practices, and group-wide initiatives while representing the specific needs of the Biosero business. - Support budget planning and management by tracking marketing spend, processing invoices, and ensuring activities remain within allocated budgets. Qualifications - Master’s degree in marketing, communications, business, life sciences, or related field preferred. - Extensive knowledge of relevant field (typically 6+ years) in B2B marketing, preferably in life sciences, lab automation, scientific software, or related technology sectors. - Demonstrated track record of planning and executing integrated campaigns that generate high-quality, sales-ready leads and measurable pipeline impact. - Strong hands-on experience with digital marketing, including managing websites, SEO/SEM, digital campaigns, and social media. - Competency in content creation, including writing and an eye for graphic design. - Proficiency with CRM and marketing tools (e.g., CRM systems, marketing automation, analytics platforms) and comfort working with data, dashboards, and funnel metrics. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across commercial, product, and central marketing teams and to represent marketing in discussions with customers and partners. - Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects, deadlines, and stakeholders in a global, matrixed environment. - Willingness to travel occasionally for content creation, customer/partner meetings, and events.
