Position Title: Commercial Partnerships Lead Reports to: VP of Digital Operations Location: UK - Remote Contract Type: Full-Time, Fixed-Term for 8 Months (This is a maternity cover role with a possibility to extend to 12 months) About BibliU BibliU is an award-winning education company that provides Day 1 access to affordable course materials, making learning more equitable and effective, in addition to providing campus store management. We partner with over 3,000 educational publishers, including Pearson, Oxford University Press, and Wiley, to offer a wide range of high-quality content to students. Our platform provides rich engagement data to academics and allows students to find information faster. We have disrupted the textbook industry by reducing the cost of education significantly and increasing publisher sales. Founded in late-2015, we are a rapidly growing company transforming the way students and educators access and interact with learning materials. Our revenue has grown rapidly, with 90% CAGR in the last three years to $100m per year. Our last significant fundraise was $21m in a Series B funding round led by Nesta Impact Investments, with participation from Guinness Asset Management, Stonehage Fleming, and Oxford Sciences Enterprises. In late 2023, we acquired Texas Book Company (now ‘BibliU Campus’) in order to deliver a more complete solution of products and services to higher ed students, faculty and administrators across the US. Position Overview This role gives you the opportunity to work with a global, cross-functional team as a core member of our growing company. We are looking for a driven Commercial Partnerships Lead who will report into the VP of Digital Operations whilst building and managing key supplier relationships. This role is essential to achieving our continued international growth and you will drive BibliU's growth initiatives by collaborating and strategising in conjunction with our suppliers, in order to ensure that the BibliU platform can best serve our University customers. What you will be doing: - Data analysis on internal/external reporting - Internal process/system improvement related projects, working directly with our product and implementation teams - Account management of BibliU’s commercial publisher partners - Build relationships, communicate efficiently, and strategise with commercial partners in order to enable BibliU’s strategic direction - Pitch new business models and revenue streams to commercial partners in order to sign commercial agreements - Negotiate with commercial partners to secure pricing and terms that maximise our margins - Enable business development by signing distribution agreements with new commercial partners to help us achieve 100% booklist coverage across all partner universities - Understand and articulate value propositions of BibliU's platform and services to commercial partners, including platform demonstrations and feature Q&A sessions - Handle our repository of commercial partners’ contracts and consulting internal and external stakeholders - Analyse content usage and sales trends from platform data in order to present valuable insights and strategic recommendations to top commercial partners - Liaise cross-functionally with various departments at BibliU, including Sales, Customer Success and Product teams, to ensure the needs of all external stakeholders (both commercial partners and universities) are being met both timely and efficiently - Represent BibliU in global industry conferences as required (London & Frankfurt) - Deliver operational needs to commercial publisher partners, such as weekly/monthly reporting covering adoption and commercials What we are looking for: - Excellent commercial acumen and relationship building skills - 4+ years experience in consulting and/or a growing tech company - Presentation and sales skills, able to articulate a value proposition to senior stakeholders and negotiate commercial terms - Extremely organised with strong attention to detail - Effective communicator, able to work with a remote team - Self-motivated and able to prioritise workload and manage time effectively - Know-how and confidence to speak with external stakeholders, including senior publishing executives (C-Suite etc) - Experience with Google Sheets, CRM databases such as Salesforce, and project management software such as ClickUp Benefits Our benefits are all aimed at supporting a healthy work-life balance and cultivating a company culture where you can bring your whole, human self to work. Regional Manager

• Oversight of store managers in the designated region. • Supervisory duties to procure and maintain sufficient textbook inventory levels throughout each school term. • Supervisory duties to procure and maintain adequate inventory levels in general merchandise departments appropriate to budgetary needs. • Supervisory duties to ensure correspondence and sufficient contact with department chairperson, faculty members and publishers as needed on book orders. • Supervise the construction of budgets for stores in the designated region. • Construct and analyze reports on a weekly and monthly basis to monitor financial fiscal return. • Prepare weekly financial “snapshot” reports for each store. • Meet with the campus administration minimally four (4) times a year to build rapport, discuss service and customer expectations. • Participate in outreach to prospective customers. • Supervise store appearance and customer service integrity to ensure positive impressions of customers and potential customers. • Recruit, hire, train and maintain staff at appropriate levels according to Company guidelines and budgets.
• Reviewing, negotiating, and signing off on NDAs independently (within agreed parameters), and assisting the General Counsel with the review and mark-up of general commercial contracts, including publisher agreements, customer contracts, vendor agreements, and SaaS/licensing arrangements. • Supporting the review and coordination of Requests for Proposals (RFPs), including extracting and summarising key legal terms, flagging issues, and maintaining trackers. • Taking ownership of contract management in shared drives: ensuring all contracts are fully executed (signed and dated), correctly labelled, and filed in the appropriate folder structure; maintaining trackers for renewal dates, expiry, and key obligations. • Carrying out legal research on UK and US legal topics and summarising findings clearly for the General Counsel and other stakeholders. • Supporting data protection compliance activities, including maintaining records of processing activities, assisting with data subject requests, and keeping internal policies up to date. • Assisting with corporate administration tasks including maintaining statutory records, preparing board resolutions, and supporting Companies House filings. • Providing general administrative support to the General Counsel, including diary management for legal matters, coordinating with external counsel, and managing legal invoices. • Helping to develop and maintain legal templates, precedents, and internal guidance documents for use across the business. • Supporting due diligence processes in connection with commercial transactions or corporate activity. • Building relationships with internal stakeholders and acting as a helpful first point of contact for routine legal queries.
Transition Manager

FP&A Principal

• Lead all Group budgeting, forecasting, and planning cycles across both Campus and Digital businesses. • Own, develop and manage consolidated Group financial models, scenario analysis, and long-range plans to support strategic decision-making. • Deliver monthly financial performance reviews and KPI dashboards for senior leadership, board-level reporting and investor reports. • Provide commercial and financial analysis to support investment decisions, new market entry, pricing strategies, and product expansion. • Build customer Pro Formas to project EBITDA, inventory requirements, accounts receivable and debt levels for new customers, working closely with the finance and commercial teams. • Partner with cross-functional stakeholders including Sales, Product, Operations, and HR to align strategic plans with financial goals. • Confidently work alongside and interface with key stakeholders including the CEO, board of directors and prospective investors. • Create transparency and accountability through improved forecasting accuracy, variance analysis, and business insights. • Help embed a performance-driven culture by aligning financial targets with company OKRs. • Support integration of acquisitions, especially in aligning reporting structures and systems between the US and UK entities. • Continually improve and automate reporting processes and tools (e.g., via Excel, ERP system (Iplicit), and other BI tools).
