Title: Commercial Manager Location: England United States Job Description: Client: Energy Windpower Contract Length: 12 months IR35: Outside IR35 (£37.00 - £40.00 per hour) Location: Remote Working Hours :37 hours per week The Role Energy Windpower client is currently seeking a Senior Commercial Project Manager to join its Onshore Service team. This role will act as a key commercial business partner to Operations management, supporting multiple onshore wind projects across a geographical hub typically 15-30 sites/windfarms. You will own full commercial accountability for your hub, working closely with internal stakeholders and customers to drive performance, profitability, and compliance. Key Responsibilities - Full Profit and loss and balance sheet ownership for assigned projects/hub - Monthly cost control, forecasting, and budget management with a focus on accuracy. - Identify, manage, and report commercial risks and opportunities - Maintain and report risk registers and non‑conformance costs. - Monitor and analyse KPIs Availability, Corrective and service hours, Project spend and gross margins, Billings, receivables, and overdue management. - Act as a trusted commercial partner to Operations, attending regular face‑to‑face meetings where required - Prepare and present monthly performance reports to senior management - Resolve day‑to‑day commercial issues with a focus on profitability and customer satisfaction - Support tender and sales phases, including contract drafting and T&Cs - Ensure robust business modelling, forecasting (ETCs), and reporting controls. You will be continuously monitor and report supplier quality performance, help contribute to KPI's and communicate risks and Support Product and Process Qualifications (PPQ), supporting suppliers in adhering to Energy Quality Management Processes and tools. What You Bring - Supplier Quality Engineer will have solid background in Engineering, R&D, or manufacturing is required (time served or degree qualified) and dealing with unexpected supplier quality issues from beginning to end. - Knowledge of inspection methodologies and capability. - Aerospace or similar industry experience. - Knowledge of drawing interpretation (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing). - Knowledge in gas turbine blade/vane machining, casting and/or surface coating technology would be highly desirable.
