Role Description As a QA Automation Engineer at Axya, you will design and implement automated testing frameworks that ensure the reliability of our web platform and APIs. You will play a key role in building and maintaining end-to-end (E2E) testing for critical procurement workflows and integrating automated tests into our CI/CD pipelines. Your work will help reduce manual QA effort and ensure that every release meets high quality standards. Key Responsibilities - Work with developers to ensure features are testable and automated tests are written alongside new functionality. - Create test plans, test cases, and automation strategies for new features and product releases. - Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to enable continuous testing. - Collaborate with software engineers, product managers, and DevOps teams to identify test scenarios and quality risks. - Execute automated and manual tests to detect bugs and ensure product stability. - Analyze test results and report defects with clear documentation and reproduction steps. - Improve test coverage and reduce manual testing through automation. - Monitor system performance and participate in regression, integration, and end-to-end testing. - Contribute to improving Axya’s overall QA processes and quality standards. Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field. - 3+ years of experience in QA automation or software testing. - Strong skills in Python, JavaScript, Java, React.js and TypeScript. - Experience with automation tools such as Selenium, Cypress, or similar. - Experience testing REST APIs and web applications. - Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, etc.). - Knowledge of Agile/Scrum development processes. - Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills. - Experience working closely with frontend/backend engineers to ensure testability of features. Preferred Qualifications - Experience with performance testing tools (JMeter, k6, Gatling). - Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, or cloud platforms (AWS/GCP). - Experience testing AI or data-driven platforms. - Familiarity with BDD frameworks (Cucumber, Behave). - Experience in startup or fast-paced SaaS environments.
