• Applied CV for Tooling & Automation: Train and integrate lightweight, custom CV models, active learning workflows, and pre-labeling agents specifically designed to accelerate human annotation and data quality control. • Data Curation & Annotation Systems: Build robust internal QC, mapping, and annotation platforms (akin to autonomous vehicle curation pipelines) backed by an intimate understanding of CV data quality and edge cases. • Spatial & Planogram Interfaces: Design high-performance front-end interfaces that map raw product images and computer vision metadata directly to physical coordinates on digital retail planograms. • High-Velocity Iteration: Build functional editors, POCs, and pre-labeling pipelines rapidly to support active model development. • Consumer-Facing Simplicity: Translate complex, multi-layered spatial and ML outputs into simple, intuitive visual workflows for non-technical users.

• Serve as the primary point of contact between the Customer team and technical decision-makers, determining ownership, routing priorities, and facilitating clear communication when deliverables span multiple areas. • Build and maintain a Live Tracker of open items with Technical teams; share status with the Customer Decision Maker regularly, taking initiative to resolve with urgency and in support of end-customer objectives. • Coordinate badge and hardware troubleshooting and installation logistics with Customer Success and the Infrastructure Technical team. • Collaborate with Sales, Customer Success and Product to define and refine customer program KPIs, use cases and business case; validate feasibility and propose timelines based on input from Technical Teams. • Facilitate technical communications and requirements gathering between customers and Technical Teams. • Support Product and Commercial teams in formulating comprehensive pilot scopes, defining KPIs, and establishing clear KPI measurement methodologies. • Develop and manage detailed project timelines that account for internal engineering development cycles, data operations needs, and external customer requirements and dependencies. • Own the program timeline from kick-off to close; track milestones, dependencies, and blockers. Be the forcing function that ensures momentum and on-time delivery. • Manage lab and store install scheduling and coordination with the Infrastructure Technical Team and Customer Success. • Secure and organize all customer inputs required by Technical Teams; planograms, images, reference data, and other assets. • Initiate data collection workflows and manage associated dependencies. • Own the weekly internal customer team meeting with Technical Team; set the agenda, drive decisions, and ensure follow-through on actions. • Ensure Sales and Customer Success have timely, accurate information from Technical Teams, and vice versa. • Own internal communication across Engineering, Product, and Customer/Commercial teams, acting as the primary source of truth for pilot status. • Use your Issue Tracker and Program Timeline track pilot program status, surface blockers, and communicate risks to stakeholders on a regular and consistent basis. • Serve as the primary technical point of contact for Customer Team on all matters related to technical planning and installation; liaise and involve internal technical teams for timely and accurate resolution. • Escalate blockers to the Customer Team Decision Maker when resolution requires prioritization or cross-Team collaboration. • Work closely with the Customer Team Decision Maker on a day-to-day basis to ensure priorities are accurately understood and communicated.

• Design and maintain versioned data pipelines that handle the ingestion and conflation of complex retail data. • Ensure that data outputs surfaced to consumer-facing dashboards meet a high quality bar for accuracy and reliability. • Implement a "right tool for the job" approach—building robust rules-based normalization and RegEx logic for bounded tasks, while strategically integrating LLMs. • Architect solutions that are mindful of the massive scale of retail environments. • Manage the lifecycle of data schema and pipeline logic to allow for rapid iteration without breaking downstream consumer insights.

• Lead and manage a multi-disciplinary engineering team spanning computer vision, backend, frontend, hardware, and firmware. • Define and execute the engineering roadmap, balancing innovation with scalability. • Architect and build real-time, AI-driven spatial computing applications. • Collaborate closely with product, business, and operation teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions. • Oversee the development and delivery of new features and products, ensuring they meet quality standards and customer expectations. • Ensure the scalability, security, and reliability of Augmodo’s platform. • Stay at the forefront of spatial AI, computer vision, and real-time data processing. • Own technical decision-making, from infrastructure to ML model deployment. • Cultivate a culture of innovation, rapid iteration, and continuous improvement.

• Collaborate across multiple teams to define Quality goals • Curate and maintain critical benchmark datasets • Create and update training materials and certification tests • Periodically evaluate annotators against benchmark data to identify drift • Conduct rigorous, double-blind quality audits • Serve as a high-trust annotator to directly handle production labeling

• Own the Augmodo story and refine the value proposition • Build and maintain relationships with media and secure coverage • Manage speaking engagements to build authority in the field • Lead communication strategy for new releases and announcements • Develop a crisis management framework • Ensure clear internal communications as the headcount increases

• You will own high-priority initiatives that don't yet have a natural home in the organization. • Lead the end-to-end setup of new locations, from legal/compliance to bringing online. • Project manage our most critical alliances, ensuring technical milestones and relationship goals are met. • Coordinate with Engineering and Legal to drive our patent portfolio development, ensuring our innovations are protected. • Design and facilitate leadership meetings, QBRs, and planning sessions. Move the team from "status updates" to "decision-making." • Own the creation of Board Decks and the Monthly Investor Update. You will synthesize complex data into a compelling narrative of company health and progress. • Solve the "fuzziness" of remote alignment. You will own the internal communication strategy, ensuring every team member—from SF to London—understands the "why" behind our goals. • End-to-end strategy and execution for world-class team offsites that balance deep-work synchronization with authentic connection. • Act as a sounding board and "ghostwriter" for the CEO. You will help prioritize the CEO’s time, ensuring they are focused on the highest-leverage activities for the business.

Role Overview As a Data Annotation Specialist, you will bridge the gap between raw spatial data and high-performing AI. You will be responsible for high-precision labeling of 3D retail environments and 4K video feeds captured by our SmartBadge™ technology. This role requires exceptional attention to detail, strong technical knowledge of digital imagery, and proficiency with advanced annotation platforms to build the "ground truth" that powers our spatial AI. Key Responsibilities - Expert Annotation: Perform complex 2D and 3D annotations (bounding boxes, polygons, and masks) using Encord Annotate or an equivalent tool. - Digital Image Processing: Apply image-quality best practices and maintain frame-by-frame consistency to ensure data integrity across varied retail video environments. - Quality Assurance: Conduct rigorous audits and multi-level quality checks to maintain a "Gold Standard" for our computer vision datasets. - Collaborative Feedback: Partner with Computer Vision and Data Operations teams to refine annotation guidelines to train and review other annotators’ work. Required Skills & Qualifications - Required Experience: 1 year or more in data annotation and Quality Assurance (QA). - Track Record: A proven track record of delivering high-quality data used to train and ship CV models with high precision and recall that generalize in the real world. - Technical Tooling: Direct experience with Encord or equivalent enterprise platforms (e.g., CVAT, Labelbox, or SuperAnnotate). - Attention to Detail: An exceptional ability to spot details across large video datasets. - Time Management: Proven ability to manage a high-volume remote workload independently while meeting strict deadlines. - Communication: Strong verbal and written skills to clearly document issues and collaborate with a global team.
