• Own and improve the systems, tools, and processes that help Appsilon scale securely, efficiently, and with less operational friction • Lead and develop the Operations team, including IT Administration and Security • Continuously improve operational scalability across Finance, Sales, Delivery, Technology, and People functions • Own and evolve the company’s operational tooling ecosystem and automation landscape • Strengthen operational resilience, business continuity, and security practices • Coordinate operational aspects of compliance initiatives, including ISO 27001 readiness and customer security requirements • Partner with external vendors, legal counsel, auditors, and the DPO on operational and compliance-related matters • Support organizational alignment by improving workflows, communication structures, and operational clarity across teams • Build and maintain operational documentation, policies, and internal enablement resources • Advise leadership on operational risks, scalability, tooling, security, and process optimization • Create an environment where teams can collaborate efficiently and focus on high-impact work.

• Build AI Agents with domain context for specialized tasks, including multi-step reasoning, tool use, and autonomous decision-making • Design and implement agentic workflows — orchestrating LLMs, retrieval systems, and external tools into reliable, production-grade pipelines • Integrate agents with client applications, APIs, and enterprise systems • Evaluate, iterate on, and optimize agent performance using structured testing, tracing, and observability • Deploy and maintain generative AI solutions in production environments (APIs, microservices, cloud architecture) • Document your work, follow best practices for LLMOps, and help shape AI development standards at Appsilon • Work closely with Data Engineers, Developers, and Analysts to integrate GenAI solutions into full-scale applications

• Own strategic accounts commercially and operationally from the business side. • Manage and grow strategic pharma and biotech accounts. • Build long-term client relationships across multiple stakeholders. • Lead commercial conversations and continuation processes. • Drive renewals, upsells, and cross-sell opportunities. • Create and execute account growth strategies and execution plans. • Own revenue targets within assigned accounts. • Manage forecasting and commercial pipeline visibility. • Identify white-space opportunities across organizations. • Lead account expansion initiatives. • Support pricing and commercial negotiations. • Work directly with executives, procurement, clinical, platform, and AI/data science stakeholders. • Lead difficult conversations when needed. • Ensure risks and delivery concerns are surfaced transparently. • Drive alignment between commercial goals and delivery realities.

• Design, build, and maintain cloud infrastructure on AWS • Manage and evolve Kubernetes clusters and container orchestration • Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines, QA gates, and deployment processes • Develop backend services and scripting (Python, Go) • Write technical specifications and documentation • Ensure platform security, reliability, and compliance • Collaborate with engineering, data, and delivery teams

• Join Appsilon as an R/Shiny Dev, partnering with top bio and life science companies, solving complex challenges with data. • Drive real impact on projects from drug discovery to clinical trials with your R and Shiny solutions. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and lead tech engineering roles to evolve data-driven applications.

• Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines across diverse environments • Integrate data from multiple internal and external sources into data warehouses or data lakes • Collaborate closely with Data Scientists, ML Engineers, and Developers to ensure data quality, structure, and availability • Monitor and improve data integrity, performance, and reliability • Build and optimize database schemas, data models, and documentation • Implement data governance, security best practices, and compliance standards

• Build cloud platforms in AWS and Azure • Use tools like Terraform, Ansible, CI/CD to automate work • Give tech advice to clients and design cloud solutions • Lead small teams and help junior engineers grow • Work with the sales team to plan technical solutions • Taking an active part in pre-sales activities

• Take the lead in designing smart, compliant, and impactful solutions for top pharma companies. • Drive innovation through R, SAS, and AI, and transform how life sciences use data to make decisions. • Act as the main technical contact for our pharma clients, helping them define their goals and find the right solutions. • Lead pre-sales activities: understand client needs, propose solutions, and support our teams to win deals. • Own solution architecture for key accounts, guiding engineering teams, and supporting delivery managers. • Build custom tools, automation scripts, and apps (mainly in R) to speed up delivery and improve quality. • Guide clients through the regulatory submission process (FDA, EMA, PMDA), including standards like CDISC, SDTM, ADaM, and define.xml. • Represent the company at industry events and conferences – speaking, sharing insights, and leading discussions.
