Role Description The IT Network Administrator is responsible for overseeing and managing the organization's IT network environment, including hardware and software. Role Description As a Director in our Financial Crime Compliance Managed Services group, you will be responsible for exercising leadership and strategic direction over client projects, while supporting the growth of AMLRS' business and people. The successful candidate should possess strong working knowledge and understanding of Anti-Money Laundering (“AML”) regulatory requirements and industry best practices to direct teams to produce high quality deliverables for clients on projects; as well as possess the ability to lead the development of new methodologies and approaches to address client needs. The Director should understand and have the ability to work in an agile, dynamic environment and be able to exercise governance and oversight on multiple AML/financial crime projects. This role requires collaboration with cross-jurisdictional teams and requires the ability to exercise sound judgment and AML knowledge to manage risk and ensure that product deliverables are executed with a high level of quality within project timelines. Experience in cryptocurrency would be an asset. This role is pivotal in managing and supporting IT Operations by supervising team activities, contributing to technical discussions, and performing operational tasks as needed. The successful candidate will be an exceptional leader, ready to mentor and develop their team while also diving into technical work to ensure the smooth running of our IT infrastructure and security. This role requires a blend of technical prowess, leadership skills, and a hands-on approach to IT management. Responsibilities: - Lead and manage the assigned IT team - Perform hiring, employee development, and mentoring to build a high-performing team. - Engage in strategic IT planning and execution, contributing to global IT initiatives where applicable. - Oversee IT Operations within his area of responsibility – ensuring reliability, scalability, and security. - Develop and maintain technical documentation, policies, and procedures. - Manage IT equipment lifecycle from procurement to decommissioning. - Provide hands-on IT Support and guidance for resolving complex issues. - Stay updated with the latest trends in hardware, software, and technology; recommend improvements and efficiencies. - Collaborate closely with colleagues, superiors and other stakeholders to align IT strategy with business goals. Requirements: - A highly experienced and motivated professional with demonstrated excellence in customer service, exceptional communication skills, a proactive attitude, and strong planning abilities. - Teamwork skills, flexibility and patience - An open mind towards services and innovation in dynamic environments - A high degree of security awareness and user friendliness - Multi-year experience in providing IT Support services - Progressive knowledge of IT Systems - Advanced knowledge of Windows and MacOS administration - Experience in working within Office365/Azure environment and/or the respective products - Understanding of network best practices. - IT management and team leadership experience - Excellent multitasking and organizational skills - Business fluent in English Preferred Requirements: - Virtualization certificates. - Windows Server certificates. - Network infrastructure certificates. - ITIL certificates. - Other IT related certificates.
