Role Description Ameritas is seeking a Divisional Vice President (DVP), Sales and Distribution to focus on recruiting independent financial professionals to Ameritas Investment Corp. and Ameritas Advisory Services, LLC (AIC/AAS). In this role you will focus on the identification and successful recruitment of advisors that seek to operate an independent business with a true business partner. Build, develop, and deploy a comprehensive relationship management strategy for all agency and advisor distribution agencies. You will be the driving force of communicating the AIC/AAS value proposition to the Financial Professional community. Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience required. - 10+ years’ experience in recruiting financial professionals and relationship management experience specifically in the RIA/Broker Dealer industry required. - Experience working with OSJs, branch offices, and/or agencies on structuring sound recruiting processes to build their team(s) required. - Deep understanding of the financial services industry and field distribution systems required. - Strong track record of successful recruiting into the independent advisor industry. - Industry licenses including Health & Life license; Series 7, Series 24, Series 65/66 preferred but not required. - Strong business acumen and decision-making abilities in a high-growth and risk-charged environment desired. - Highly organized, performance-driven, results focused, self-starter desired. - Strong communication, influencing and relationship management skills desired. - Willingness and ability to travel up to 50% required. Role Description This position serves as the business lead supporting the analysis, design, development, and deployment of business systems and reporting tools to meet Ameritas Retirement Plans division goals and objectives. Provide recommendations for automation and process improvements with a broad knowledge of business systems, reporting, and analytical tools used across the enterprise to recommend optimum solutions for the use cases presented. This is a technical individual contributor role. This position will straddle the line between our Retirement Plan division and our I.T. teams to define strategy, communicate vision, needs, and priorities. This role will involve critical thinking and an ability to understand and manage competing visions and competing priorities. This position is remote (within the U.S.A.) and does not require regular in-office presence. - Drive the development, refinement, and execution of technology plans in collaboration with Retirement Plans and senior leadership. - Lead high-priority initiatives aligned with organizational vision, transformation goals, and long-term enterprise value creation. - Develop business cases and ROI analyses for strategic investments, track realization and performance outcomes. - Define Product Vision: Help craft and communicate a long-term strategic roadmap for the retirement application ecosystem. - Create a high performing culture by advocating for the right technology to meet business resource needs. - Listen and understand stakeholder business requirements. Communicate and clarify requirements to I.T. partners. - Act in diverse capacities as needed to achieve business results. - Partner with Retirement Plans business leaders to identify opportunities for system and reporting solutions to deliver improved business outcomes. - Develop partnerships within the organization and external vendors to engage in cross-functional business initiatives. - Ensure that Retirement Plans systems support the business process from a reporting and analytics perspective. - Lead automation and process improvement initiatives. Track and report on performance enhancements. - Provides direction and manages change according to change management protocol. - Develop deep subject matter expertise for Retirement Plans technology and how it supports specific business processes. - Facilitate regular syncs with business leaders to manage expectations and report on project health to maintain stakeholder alignment. Qualifications - Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience required. - 4-7 years of retirement plans related experience required. - Technical experience in Salesforce, CPQ, iJoin and PowerBI applications desired. - Technical experience in Omni or Relius retirement plan applications desired. - Previous experience in business analyst, product owner, or business system administration roles is desired. Role Description Ameritas Life Insurance Corp is seeking a Director of National Accounts and Partnership Sales, Retirement Plans who is responsible for growing sales with key, strategic distribution partners that represent the largest distribution opportunity for Ameritas while identifying new distribution relationships. These partners may include: - Broker dealers - RIAs - Aggregators - TPAs - Payroll firms - Individual retirement shops - Specific MEP/PEP opportunities - Any other partnership that has large, institutional sales potential The candidate will lead the development of a business plan for each opportunity based on clear metrics engaging the Regional Sales Vice-Presidents or Regional Sales Consultants to coordinate and execute the plan. Periodic reporting of tactics, touchpoints and sales vs. plan will be required. The Strategic Partnerships Sales rep will provide leadership, vision and strategy around these identified opportunities for the Retirement Plan sales team, while ensuring a common culture and sales experience throughout the country. This position is remote (within the U.S.A.) and does not require regular in-office presence. What you do: - Lead projects and sales finals leveraging internal sales resources including key account management, institutional sales, external sales and internal sales. - Create an enhanced distribution strategy to grow sales at firm-level partners by studying local office dynamics and opening doors for external wholesalers, developing partnership improvement plans. - Partner with internal constituents to identify potential strategic relationships that will benefit from and produce outsized sales when a strategic plan is put in place. - Provide detailed reporting to key strategic partners on a monthly, quarterly or annual basis. - Develop Ameritas AIC/AAS relationship and lead RP Task Force and key initiatives. - Organize and lead annual RP Forum for key advisor/TPA relationships. - Partner with VP Sales and National Sales Director in developing and executing key Sales initiatives. - Represent Ameritas Retirement Plans at various industry events including booth/table sponsorships and breakout session speaker. - Build relationships and motivate internal partners to execute on business plan. - Build relationships with key external partners to get their buy-in and support of partnership plan. Qualifications - 10+ years' sales, RP and industry experience. - Industry designations are a definite plus. - Knowledge of core product financials, offerings and pricing structure is key. - Market segmentation knowledge, including micro-, small and emerging market needs, products and deliverables. - Proficiency in product modeling, pricing and department financials is a plus. - Excellent leader and strategic thinker, creating and implementing change effectively. - Strong presenter with excellent written, oral and meeting facilitation skills. - Proficient in Microsoft Office applications. - Team player, contributing on new projects to grow business at or above corporate targets. - Dynamic speaker at conference sessions and engaging booth/table leader. - Ability to build strong relationships with key decision makers. - Ability to travel 50% - 75% of time.
