Role Description Love solving HR and payroll puzzles? Enjoy helping companies get the most out of their HR tech? We’re looking for a UKG Ready Payroll/HR System Consultant to join our growing team. In this role, you’ll help organizations implement and optimize UKG Ready Payroll and Core HR, guiding them from discovery and configuration all the way through go-live. You’ll work closely with clients to simplify their payroll and HR processes, turn requirements into working solutions, and make sure their systems run smoothly. If you enjoy collaborating with clients, solving complex problems, and delivering impactful HCM implementations, you’ll fit right in. - Lead clients through the full UKG Ready implementation lifecycle—from discovery workshops and requirements gathering to configuration, testing, and go-live. - Configure and optimize UKG Ready Payroll and Core HR modules using best practices. - Partner with client stakeholders to understand business processes and design effective solutions. - Facilitate client workshops, working sessions, and solution reviews. - Manage testing cycles, data validation, and system acceptance. - Collaborate with project managers and other consultants on multi-module implementations. - Provide post-go-live support and best practice guidance to ensure long-term client success. - Stay up to date on UKG Ready product enhancements and implementation methodologies. Qualifications - 2–4 years of UKG Ready (Kronos Workforce Ready) implementation experience, especially in Payroll / HR. - Experience configuring or supporting HRIS / Payroll systems. - Understanding of software implementation lifecycle and system testing. - Strong communication skills and the ability to work directly with client stakeholders. - Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. - Experience with additional UKG Ready modules (Recruiting, Onboarding, Performance, etc.) is a plus. Role Description Align HCM is seeking an experienced UKG Activities System Consultant to join our UKG practice on a contract basis. In this specialized role, you will lead and support the implementation of the UKG Pro Workforce Management™ Activities module for clients. You will guide clients from requirements gathering through go-live, configuring the Activities solution to automate and reconcile paid time to labor, deliver real-time visibility into productivity performance, and integrate seamlessly with ERP, payroll, and downstream systems. - Lead clients through end-to-end implementation of the UKG Pro WFM Activities module, covering the full project lifecycle: requirements gathering, gap analysis, solution design, configuration, testing, data conversion, go-live, and post-production support. - Configure the Activities solution to automate and reconcile paid time to labor, including activity profiles, task and operation definitions, labor transfer rules, productivity benchmarks, and activity-based costing calculations. - Facilitate discovery workshops and working sessions to elicit client requirements for activity tracking, labor allocation, job costing, and productivity measurement, translating business needs into actionable system design decisions. - Design and document integration data flows between UKG Pro WFM Activities and third-party systems, including ERP platforms (SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics), MES systems, payroll engines, and time collection devices, collaborating with integration teams to ensure accurate and timely data exchange. - Configure time collection and device settings to support Activities data capture, including clocks, mobile, and desktop entry points, ensuring accurate tracking of employee activity assignments across shifts and work orders. - Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including functional design specifications, data mapping documents, configuration workbooks, test scripts, and end-user training materials. - Lead system configuration, unit testing, system integration testing (SIT), and support client user acceptance testing (UAT), proactively identifying and resolving defects and configuration gaps. - Manage testing and acceptance of delivered solutions, partnering with technical teams to validate that outputs meet client requirements. - Deliver best-practice guidance on Activities module configuration and workflow design, advising clients on productivity standards, labor reconciliation approaches, exception management, and manager dashboard design. - Build trusted, collaborative relationships with client project teams, business stakeholders, and operations leaders. - Collaborate with Align HCM internal teams, including Timekeeping, Scheduling, and Integration consultants, to ensure holistic WFM solution design and cohesive go-live readiness across all in-scope modules. Qualifications - Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience implementing UKG Pro WFM Activities. - Proven ability to configure Activities profiles, task and operation definitions, productivity standards, labor allocation rules, and activity-based costing calculations within UKG Pro WFM. - Experience implementing Activities in environments with complex operational requirements, such as manufacturing, distribution, warehousing, or healthcare, where job costing and real-time labor-to-work-order reconciliation are in scope. - Solid understanding of the broader UKG Pro WFM platform, including Timekeeping, pay rules, time collection devices, and how Activities interacts with adjacent modules and downstream payroll systems. - Experience with data mapping from source systems to UKG Pro WFM, including familiarity with integration touchpoints between Activities and ERP, MES, or payroll platforms. - Demonstrated ability to facilitate requirements-gathering workshops, document functional designs, and translate client business processes into system configuration decisions. - Strong English language communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present technical configurations and design options clearly to client operations and IT stakeholders. - UKG Pro WFM certification is a strong asset. - Ability and willingness to travel to client sites as needed.
