Position Title: Territory Sales Manager Department: Sales Location: Remote, Ohio, United States About AGI AGI is a global food-based infrastructure company publicly traded in Canada. The Opportunity The Territory Sales Manager is responsible for developing, prospecting and maintaining long term, profitable customer relationships. This role requires a highly intrinsically motivated sales professional who delivers deep product expertise and consultative sales support for AGI’s CMC and BinManager product lines. In addition, this position will address customer needs, recommend tailored solutions that drive sales opportunities and ensure consistent follow through with delivering high customer satisfaction and revenue growth. Responsibilities: - Build and grow a dealer base by demonstrating products, services, and technical product solutions. - Effectively support customers and growth opportunities to maximizes business potential and profitability. - Drive new customer business through networking, referrals, and cold calling. - Conduct sales presentations and product demonstrations to dealers and direct customers. - Initiate or support the development of AGI Digital quotes for end-users to ensure accurate cost estimating, including entering all Customer Opportunities into the AGI Digital Sales Portal/SalesForce and actively managing and maintaining Opportunity status. - Develop strategies and provide feedback to key stakeholders to ensure market competitiveness, including collaborating with management to identify and maximize sales opportunities. - Work cross functionally with internal departments to resolve issues and develop solutions for customer accounts, including gathering and sharing competitive information with appropriate internal teams. - Execute sales strategies to meet monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue goals, ensuring sales and retention objectives for all products are achieved. - Build relationships with customer decision makers and deliver exceptional customer service, including supporting customer retention through being knowledgeable of competitive situations. Qualifications: - Possess sales and business acumen, ideally coupled with an Ag Business, Economics, Marketing or related degree, or equivalent commensurate experience. - A minimum of 2 years in demonstrated sales or customer service achievements, preferably in the Ag Industry. - Grain storage, monitoring knowledge. - Ability to travel approximately 70% of the time Why AGI? Role Description The Commercial Sales Manager plays a pivotal role in developing and prospecting long-term, profitable customer relationships with both existing and prospective clients across targeted regions and end-markets. Success in this role is driven by consistently engaging in professional sales and service calls, which foster enduring connections with customers. - Achieves sales revenue, EBITDA, and individual goals. - Drives new customer business through networking, referrals, and cold calling. - Conducts sales presentations and product demonstrations to contractors and direct customers. - Collects customer requirements to quote Request for Proposals from customers including drawings, specifications, and contract terms. - Facilitates communications between AGI Quote Team and end-users to ensure accurate cost estimating. - Works with internal departments and/or divisions to solve problems and develop solutions for customer accounts. - Strategizes with management to locate and maximize sales opportunities. - Develops strategies and provides feedback to ensure we remain competitive in the market. - Gathers and shares competitive information with appropriate internal departments. - Ensures sales and retention goals for all products are met. - Sources and manages distribution channels as needed. - Develops and cultivates positive relationships with customers at all levels of the organization. - Influences decision makers within various disciplines at the customer (engineering, purchasing, quality, and manufacturing) to build and maintain rapport. - Provides extraordinary customer service and identifies new business opportunities. - Enters all Customer Opportunities into Salesforce and actively manages and maintains Opportunity status. - Possesses sales and business acumen, ideally coupled with an Ag Business, Marketing, or Technical Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent commensurate experience. Qualifications - Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent commensurate experience. - 4+ years of demonstrated sales or customer service achievements preferably in the Ag Industry. - Grain Handling industry experience and technical knowledge of grain storage and handling preferred. Role Description Apply theory and principles of civil engineering in planning, designing, and overseeing fabrication of structures under the direction of engineering staff. - Draft detailed dimensional drawings and design layouts for projects and to ensure conformance to specifications. - Calculate dimensions, square footage, profile and component specifications, and material quantities using calculator or computer. - Read and review project blueprints and structural specifications to determine dimensions of structure or system and material requirements. - Confer with supervisor to determine project details such as plan preparation, acceptance testing, and evaluation of field conditions. - Inspect project site and evaluate contractor work to detect design, manufacturing or erection deficiencies and ensure conformance to design specifications and applicable codes. - Develop plans and estimate costs for the construction of structures. - Prepare reports and document project activities and data. - Respond to manufacturing plant and public suggestions and complaints. - Evaluate facility to determine suitability for occupancy and square footage availability. - Conduct materials test and analysis on prototypes using tools and equipment and applying engineering knowledge. Qualifications - Bachelor’s Degree – Civil Engineering - Minimum of 5 years or Professional Engineer’s license - Required: Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Teams, AutoCAD, or similar. - Preferred: Visual Analysis or similar structural design and analysis program and Metal Building Software. - Desired: Visual Basic Programming.
