Title: Business Development Manager, Natural Colors– NA – Remote Location: Erlanger United States Job Description: Business Development Manager, Natural Colors– North America – Remote This role will cover US and Canada. Job Purpose: To be the main point of contact for Colors from Nature® to customers, proactively managing their needs, aligning with color capability and portfolio. As such delivering profitable sales growth, technical competence through education and brand awareness across customers. The job holder would be an experienced commercial and/or technical leader who demonstrates the ability to inspire customers, support a high-performance culture, is technically and commercially competent and has a real passion to develop a strong value proposition for Colors from Nature®. This is seen as key leadership and ambassador role in a highly strategic market for ADM and will have significant autonomy and visibility within the organization to continue building an exciting business unit. Main Responsibilities: - Supporting and growing key accounts effectively. - Understand regional consumer requirements to evolve and adapt global product offering - Oversee brand strategies and marketing execution in conjunction with Marketing Team to maximize awareness and consideration within the region - Establish market and competitor activity monitoring from a commercial perspective - Build / develop high performing support team to help realize company aspirations - Identify and develop new business and partnership opportunities for awareness and growth - Build and sustain long-term relationships with all stakeholders (internal and external) - Monthly reporting, sales analytics and technical insights; understand go-to-market strategy and how to maximize sales efficiency - Stay up to date on natural color trend analysis, competitive activity and changing consumer behaviors through industry publications, events and insights reports - Identify appropriate exhibitions and events to attend to build awareness and demonstrate a return on any investment Skills & Abilities: - Demonstrates Leadership Competencies & Attributes - Customer mindset. Strong commercial acumen. - Strategic thinking and takes initiative on new areas of business development - Inspirational leadership and reliable manager of day to day priorities - Superb communicator, great organizational skills - Motivates wider commercial team to learn and develop new business opportunities Education & Experience: - Minimum 8 years of experience within the colors industry - A through technical knowledge of how to use color pigments - A proven track record of developing and executing go to market strategies - Strong affinity with customer needs to build awareness and engagement - Evidence of building and leading strong, high performing and motivated teams - Marketing expertise to build consumer brands in a compelling and engaging way - Strong analytical / P&L experience - Excellent presentation and communication skills - Demonstrable ability to self-motivate and manage multiple priorities - Strong attention to detail - Strong IT proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Power Point - Fluent in English - A full driver’s license and passport, and be flexible to travel on a regular basis. - The travel will from 25% to 50%. Position Summary: The Nutrition Division of Archer Daniels Midland Co. is actively seeking an initiative-taking and experienced Account Manager to join our dynamic sales team. The ideal candidate will have a proven record in sales, exceptional leadership skills, and a deep understanding of customer relationship management. Individual will be responsible for selling dairy flavors, processed cheese and custom cheese sauce to food manufacturers. Additional responsibilities include identifying opportunities for food flavorings, specialty ingredients, and complete formula solutions from the ADM Nutrition portfolio to customers. This role is responsible for driving sales growth, opening new markets, managing key accounts, processing pricing requests and developing long-term relationships.
