We’ve also been featured in Bloomberg, TechCrunch, Insider, Forbes, and other leading publications. Together, we’re building something extraordinary—and we’re just getting started. Addition is growing rapidly, and we’re hiring a Senior Data Analyst. This individual will work closely with the founder and founding team to help identify big opportunities, execute, and will play a key role in the company’s growth. The right individual is smart, scrappy, and be ready to dive into whatever what needs to be done. As a critical member of our team, you will work directly with the executive team, as well as collaborate across product, design, engineering, and marketing teams to drive reporting and uncover key insights. We are looking for someone who is excited about our mission to make personalized financial expertise inclusive and accessible for all. Who You Are - 3–5 years of experience in a data analyst role within a fast-paced, analytical environment--preferably a high-growth startup - Deep understanding of business dynamics and comfort working cross-functionally to uncover insights that drive strategic decisions. - Strong SQL skills and experience with modern BI tools - Comfortable working without clean schemas or a well-defined metrics layer - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proven ability to translate ambiguous questions into clear, data-driven narratives. - Self-starter who thrives in a dynamic, high-accountability environment and can work autonomously while collaborating effectively with diverse teams. - Experience designing, maintaining, and optimizing data models, dashboards, and reporting pipelines. - Excellent communication skills, capable of distilling complex data into actionable insights for technical and non-technical audiences alike. - Passionate about our mission to make personalized financial expertise more inclusive and accessible. Additional Preferred Skills: - Experience with product analytics and event-based data (Segment, Amplitude, Mixpanel, etc.) - Familiarity with SaaS or fintech metrics: engagement, activation, retention, NRR - Python or R for analytical scripting - Comfort with AI tools in analysis workflows - Interest or experience in data science (modeling, experimentation, statistical analysis). This is not the job today, but the role has a path there. What You’ll Do - Stand up dashboards that replace legacy spreadsheet, starting with the metrics leadership needs to run the business - Surface conversion patterns, lead quality signals, and pipeline insights for the sales team - Support executive decision-making with clear, data-backed recommendations and scenario modeling. - Collaborate with engineers to enhance data infrastructure and advocate for best practices in data management. - Help foster a data-driven culture across the organization through training, documentation, and knowledge sharing. - Own the rhythm of recurring reporting and business reviews - Handle ad hoc analysis for leadership. Urgent, time-sensitive questions are part of the job, and you will help build the system for managing that tension against planned work. - As the data function matures, there is room to grow into product analytics, experimentation, and data science. We want someone who can scale with us. Perks & Benefits - Competitive salary - 401(k) & Employer Match - Work from anywhere - Health insurance & wellness benefits - Equity compensation - Generous parental leave - Unlimited vacation - Company offsites - Unlimited access to financial professionals $120,000 - $155,000 a year Salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location.
