Site Reliability Engineer

• Own reliability, availability, and performance of production systems running in cloud environments • Define and monitor SLIs/SLOs and help manage error budgets across the platform • Lead incident response efforts including detection, triage, mitigation, and postmortems • Improve observability through logging, monitoring, alerting, and dashboards • Automate operational workflows and reduce manual toil wherever possible • Partner closely with engineering teams to improve system resiliency and scalability • Assist with capacity planning, infrastructure optimization, and performance tuning • Build internal tooling, runbooks, and operational best practices • Support Kubernetes-based infrastructure and distributed systems at scale • Act as an escalation point for complex production and platform issues
Senior/Staff Software Engineer

• Lead architecture and design for core Conductor services, ensuring scalability, resiliency, and performance at massive scale. • Tackle the most complex distributed systems challenges, influencing both near-term deliverables and future technical direction. • Collaborate with product, design, and cross-functional engineering teams to deliver high-impact, business-critical features. • Act as a multiplier—mentoring engineers at all levels, elevating team practices, and fostering a culture of technical excellence. • Champion open-source contributions to Conductor, guiding community engagement and adoption. • Evaluate and introduce emerging technologies, frameworks, and tooling to keep Orkes at the forefront of distributed computing innovation. • Establish and enforce best practices in coding standards, testing, observability, and operational readiness. • Partner closely with leadership to align engineering initiatives with business strategy and customer needs. • Stay up to date with emerging technologies and industry trends
• Identify and qualify new business opportunities through prospecting, networking, and cold outreach • Obsess on achieving daily & weekly against prospecting targets, across your assigned territory accounts, to build a favorable pipeline gap of 3:2:2 • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to target mid-market accounts • Build and maintain strong relationships with developers, key decision-makers, and stakeholders • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including marketing, product, and customer success to drive revenue growth and customer satisfaction • Focus on forecasting accurately and maintaining favorable coverage across commit, best-case and most-likely for the current quarter • Obsess over compressing sales cycles and obtaining early verbal commitments from customer • Work with Orkes revenue leadership to move the deal from verbal to close within the forecast • Track daily sales activities and maintain CRM hygiene by accurately capturing the details that are required by Orkes leadership in our CRM system • Consistently follow MEDDPICC across your opportunities and develop close plans for the opportunities within the current quarter forecast • Execute sales-plays defined by Orkes leadership team to develop the right customer opportunities • Stay informed about market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to inform sales strategies and tactics • Achieve and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets and KPIs to drive company growth and revenue • Collaborate with Customer Success team for identifying value opportunities for account expansion • Provide exceptional customer service and support throughout the sales cycle to build long-term partnerships and maximize customer lifetime value.
Sales Development Representative
