Key Responsibilities - Supporting AWS, Azure, Oracle, and GCP cloud services and infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or ARM templates - Troubleshooting and resolving issues related to a specific cloud environment - Implementing Cloud security best practices - Leveraging Azure data services such as Azure Monitor, Azure Logging Analytics, Microsoft Defender for Cloud, Microsoft Sentinel, and Azure Policy to ensure security posture and compliance. - Writing and maintaining automation scripts in PowerShell, Python, or Azure CLI and executing them using services such as Logic Apps, Azure Automation, and Azure Functions. - Configuring network security groups (NSGs), application gateways, and other network controls to protect cloud resources - Managing Cloud compute, storage, networking, and database services - Applying security best practices and compliance standards while collaborating effectively across teams to address complex technical needs Requirements - An active TS/SCI with Polygraph is required. - 5-7 years of experience in cloud computing with a primary focus on Microsoft Azure, and AWS</li> - Bachelor’s degree or 4+ additional years of IT experience in lieu of a degree - Experience designing and deploying Cloud-based solutions tools, and working with DevOps tools such as Azure DevOps, Jenkins, Gitlab, AWS CodeStar, Docker, etc. - Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code tools like ARM templates, Terraform, Ansible, or BICEP - Familiarity with cloud template technologies including Azure Resource Manager, GitHub Enterprise, GitLab, and architecture frameworks such as TOGAF or Zachman - Experience automating workflows using scripting tools such as PowerShell, Bash, Python, YAML, JSON, or Ansible - DoD 8570 IAT Level 2 certification (e.g., CCNA Security, GICSP, GSEC, Security+, CND, SSCP) or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire Preferred Qualifications - Familiarity with container technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes, and experience with other cloud platforms like AWS or Google Cloud Platform - Familiarity with the Atlassian tool suite, specifically JIRA and Confluence. - Understanding of Federal Information Processing Standards (FIPS)-199, NIST SP 800-53, NIST SP 800-53A, NIST SP 800-37, and DoD Cloud Security Requirements Guide - Microsoft certifications such as Azure Administrator Associate, Azure Security Engineer Associate, Solutions Expert in Cloud Platform and Infrastructure, or Azure Solutions Architect Expert Physical Qualifications - Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%. - Needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc. - Frequently communicates with co-workers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering presentations.
