Role Description We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Data Analyst to support data-driven decision-making across the organization. This role will partner closely with cross-functional teams including underwriting, claims, actuarial, and finance to deliver insights that drive business performance, operational efficiency, and regulatory compliance. The ideal candidate is comfortable working with large datasets, building dashboards, and translating business needs into actionable analysis. - Analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement - Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and data visualizations for business stakeholders - Partner with underwriting, claims, actuarial, and finance teams to support strategic initiatives - Perform data validation, cleansing, and quality checks to ensure data integrity - Translate business requirements into SQL queries and analytical models - Support regulatory reporting and compliance-related data requests - Conduct ad hoc analysis to support executive and operational decision-making - Document processes, data definitions, and reporting logic - Identify opportunities for automation and process optimization Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Finance, or a related field - 2–5+ years of experience in data analysis or business intelligence - Strong SQL skills, including complex queries, joins, and aggregations - Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar - Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, advanced formulas) - Experience working with relational databases - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills - Excellent communication skills with the ability to present findings clearly to technical and non-technical audiences Requirements - Experience in insurance, financial services, or healthcare industries - Knowledge of industry metrics such as loss ratios, claim trends, and underwriting KPIs - Experience with Python or R for data analysis - Familiarity with ETL processes and data warehousing concepts - Experience working in an Agile or cross-functional team environment
