Role Description Being a Copywriter at Kettle means playing a pivotal role in defining experiences that span across departments, bringing creativity, strategy, and innovation together to craft meaningful solutions. Our writers are not just creators—they are collaborators, storytellers, problem-solvers, and visionaries who drive impact through copy. As our Copy Intern, you’ll partner with our Creative and Strategy teams to write long- and short-form content, from social posts and website copy, to scripts and pitch decks. - Collaborate and work with the Copy team to write headlines, taglines, social, and product copy across multiple touchpoints - Contribute to internal and client facing pitches and presentations - Help create, maintain and implement copy guides to ensure consistent voice and tone - Partner closely with creative leads to ensure work meets expectations - Participate in internal creative reviews, and impromptu work sessions - Co-create with other interns on a final Intern presentation based on a previous agency brief and present that work Qualifications - Comfortable working in Google Suite and MS Word; additional creative (Adobe, Figma, etc.) or project management software (Notion, Airtable, etc) a plus - Confident presentation skills, and excellent written and verbal communication - A portfolio of work samples that show multiple examples of long- and short-form writing - Familiarity with AI tools, and the ability to explain or demonstrate value gained through AI, and how you use it in your workflow Requirements - You must be entering your senior year of undergraduate studies, a recent graduate, master's student, career changer, reentering the workforce, or switching careers - You must be currently based in the U.S - You must be able to work approximately 40 hours per week for the duration of the program Benefits - The salary range for this role is between $20 - $25 per hour based on skill set, education level, location, and experience.
