• As Software Engineering Lead, you'll own the function that designs, builds, and operates the backend services, RESTful APIs, and AI/LLM systems that power every Firmable product and underpin the application team. • You'll lead two engineering pods through their respective team leads, setting the technical bar, the architecture, and the operating rhythm, while staying deeply hands-on yourself. • This role is roughly 70% hands-on architecture and engineering, 30% leadership and cross-functional work. • Reporting to Head of Data & Services.

• Own Paid Acquisition: Lead our Facebook Ads and Google Ads programs end-to-end, including strategy, creative direction, audience development, budget allocation, testing, and performance reporting against cost per lead and cost per enrollment targets. • Build the Marketing Systems: Design and implement the automations, integrations, and internal tools that operate our marketing programs, including lead routing, reporting, and integrations between ad platforms and our CRM. • Instrument Performance: Build the tracking, dashboards, and data pipelines required to measure performance across advertising, the website, and the enrollment funnel. • Ship Landing Pages and Funnels: Develop and iterate on landing pages, forms, and lead capture experiences tied to specific campaigns and audiences. • Apply AI Across the Function: Use LLMs and AI development tools to write code, produce and refine ad creative, analyze performance data, and automate repeatable work across the marketing stack. • Own the Numbers: Report on pipeline, spend, and unit economics on a defined cadence, and make informed recommendations on where to invest further and where to reduce spend.

- Lead the architecture, design, and continuous improvement of enterprise Elastic environments - Define and enforce best practices for scalability, resilience, lifecycle management, and operational excellence - Support and optimize platform strategy for high availability, retention, performance, and cost efficiency - Lead root cause analysis and resolution of complex platform, pipeline, and data issues - Design and govern ingestion pipelines, data models, and normalization standards aligned to ECS - Build and optimize advanced Logstash and ingest pipelines for high-volume and diverse data sources - Lead large-scale Elastic Agent and Fleet deployments with strong operational standards for endpoint and observability use cases - Drive integration of diverse security and observability telemetry sources with high data quality - Design and optimize AWS-backed Elastic infrastructure, including S3, compute, networking, IAM, and related cloud services - Design production grade CI/CD pipelines. - Leverage AWS services for snapshot strategy, retention, archival, and broader platform operations - Monitor and optimize cost drivers across compute, storage, ingestion, and retention - Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using infrastructure-as-code - Design advanced Kibana dashboards, detection workflows, observability views, and executive reporting - Partner with detection engineering, infrastructure, and leadership teams to define requirements and roadmap priorities - Identify opportunities to improve detection coverage, platform reliability, and observability maturity - Mentor engineers, review technical designs, and contribute to platform roadmap planning

• Assist in developing basic software components and features under supervision • Deploy and author code for cloud infrastructure and software components on the Microsoft Azure platform, including: • Azure Functions • Service Bus • Logic Apps • Cosmos DB (NoSQL) • Support front-end development by designing simple user interactions on web pages • Contribute to developing basic back-end web applications. • Assist in creating and maintaining simple databases (e.g., MSSQL) • Help ensure application responsiveness and cross-platform optimization • Participate in small projects or assist with components of larger efforts • Learn and apply internal coding standards and development best practices • Troubleshoot bugs and assist with resolving software issues under guidance • Stay current on emerging technologies and programming languages relevant to the role
