• Provide regional leadership for railroad projects and support strategic growth initiatives within the assigned region. • Lead the planning, design, coordination, and delivery of a variety of rail projects including industry track, terminals, spurs, mainlines, yards, and sidings. • Coordinate with railroad companies for the delivery of a variety of DOT and municipal public agency projects involving railroad interface for at-grade crossings, grade-separated structures, and utility crossings. • Serve as a senior technical resource and advisor for rail design (geometry, material, etc.), grading, drainage, and related infrastructure. • Build and strengthen relationships with clients, railroad operators, public agencies, and industry partners across the region. • Support business development activities including client engagement, proposal development, project pursuits, and participation in industry organizations and conferences. • Provide mentorship, leadership, and technical guidance to engineers, designers, and junior staff across multiple offices and project teams. • Collaborate with Project Managers and regional leadership to support staffing strategies, resource planning, and operational efficiency. • Coordinate with federal, state, and local agencies across multiple states to ensure compliance with applicable regulations and railroad standards. • Lead implementation and enforcement of quality assurance and quality control (QA/QC) procedures throughout project development and delivery. • Support the continued development and standardization of rail engineering and coordination practices, design procedures, and project delivery processes across the company. • Travel periodically for client meetings, project site visits, regional coordination, and industry events. • Perform other duties as needed.

• Lead Engineering Leads across Platform and product pods • Set expectations for engineering performance, delivery, and quality • Establish and maintain a strong engineering culture focused on accountability and execution • Serve as the escalation point for technical, delivery, and team-related challenges • Define and govern the engineering operating model across all pods • Establish standards for sprint cadence, backlog execution, and delivery practices • Define and enforce code review, testing, and release standards • Ensure consistency in how engineering work is executed across teams • Own delivery timelines, throughput, and engineering capacity planning • Ensure alignment between product priorities and engineering execution • Identify and remove blockers that impact team velocity • Balance speed and quality to ensure sustainable delivery • Partner with the Principal Solutions Architect to ensure architectural standards are followed • Stay close to technical decisions to identify risks and ensure sound design • Support Engineering Leads in making strong architectural and implementation choices • Ensure technical debt is managed and does not hinder future development • Work with the SVP of Digital Products on engineering strategy and organizational growth • Partner with the Director of Product Management to align on priorities and delivery commitments • Collaborate with platform, data, and AI leaders to ensure integrated system development • Oversee staff augmentation and external engineering resources • Ensure external contributors meet the same standards as internal teams • Integrate contractors effectively into pod workflows and delivery processes • Hire, develop, and retain Engineering Leads and broader engineering talent • Own headcount planning, onboarding quality, and performance management • Provide coaching and support to Engineering Leads as they grow their teams • Build an organization capable of scaling with the product portfolio • Drive continuous improvement in engineering processes, tools, and practices • Ensure strong incident response, monitoring, and post-incident learning • Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, quality, and developer experience • Maintain a focus on long-term scalability and sustainability

• Advance our modern Android-based system stack with a direct focus on cellular connectivity, fleet stability, and the 5G upgrade roadmap. • Engineer low-level AOSP system initialization routines, image partitioning, file system structures, and SELinux access policies. • Optimize cellular stack integrations spanning LTE and 5G modems, Radio Interface Layer components, AT commands, and eSIM configurations. • Analyze device telemetry and network metrics to diagnose complex fleet anomalies across hardware boundaries, RF environments, and user space. • Partner cross-functionally with Hardware, Product, and Infrastructure teams to design power-aware connectivity states for extreme seasonal conditions.

• Architect geospatial tools and routing algorithms that map optimal, effective locations for hardware, drones, and safety devices. • Build automated permitting integrations that streamline submissions, tracking, and approvals across municipalities and utility providers. • Design unified customer and deployment dashboards that deliver real-time visibility into device installation progress and fleet health. • Develop robust backend web services using TypeScript, Node.js, and SQL databases to power real-time planning data interactions. • Deploy and manage containerized microservices across cloud environments using Docker, Helm, and Kubernetes.
