• Create, review, and improve AI-assisted drafts of technical content, including user and developer guides, API references, SDKs, and code samples • Contribute to content strategy for complex content sets • Partner with product managers and engineers to understand underlying technology, target audiences, and documentation needs • Ensure documentation is clear, concise, accurate, and usable • Advocate for users during feature development to improve workflows and product usability • Collaborate with other writers to build consistent content experiences, coverage standards, and style standards
Job Requirements
- Technical depth and hands-on experience with software development workflows and concepts
- Ability to distill sophisticated technical concepts into clear, easy-to-understand, user-focused documentation
- Successful track record delivering high-quality content in a fast-paced software development environment
- Ability to lead by example and provide guidance and coaching to less experienced writers
- Ability to manage time well and work in a globally distributed team across time zones
- Experience with object-oriented programming languages, game development, digital artistry, or real-time 3D development is beneficial

Role Description We are looking for a Technical Lead to drive end-to-end application engineering for a large-scale marketing analytics platform, acting as the primary gatekeeper for code quality and architecture as complex logic and AI features are embedded into an existing system. You will: - Review all PRs and enforce code quality standards, preventing spaghetti code and scope creep. - Design and deploy containerized applications using REST APIs. - Embed complex logic, AI features, and outputs from data-heavy backends into the platform without disrupting existing workflows. - Collaborate with DevOps on the client's AWS data stack, including an S3-backed data lake, Athena, and EKS/Kubernetes, and clarify functional and non-functional requirements. - Guide senior developers and ensure alignment with the client's engineering practices. - Lead end-to-end application engineering while maintaining high standards for architecture, scalability, and maintainability. - Set standards for responsible use of AI-assisted development tools and identify risky AI-driven shortcuts during PR reviews.
