• Administer and maintain Azure SQL environments. • Manage Oracle Database environments, including enterprise data warehouses and applications such as PeopleSoft. • Monitor database performance and perform query tuning and index optimization. • Implement and maintain backup, recovery, and disaster recovery procedures. • Manage database security, access controls, auditing, and encryption. • Perform capacity planning and storage management. • Ensure high availability and operational monitoring of database platforms. • Support schema deployments and database change management activities. • Troubleshoot data-loading, integration, and database-related issues. • Support development, test, and production environments. • Collaborate with development, infrastructure, and analytics teams to ensure stable and efficient database operations.

Job Requirements

  • 5+ years of Database Administration experience.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Azure SQL administration.
  • Solid Oracle Database administration experience.
  • Experience supporting enterprise data warehouse environments.
  • Strong knowledge of database performance monitoring, query tuning, and index optimization.
  • Experience with backup, recovery, and disaster recovery solutions.
  • Good understanding of database security, auditing, access management, and encryption.
  • Experience with capacity planning and storage management.
  • Experience supporting high-availability database environments.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Upper-Intermediate English or higher.

Role Description This position supports data analysis and SAP HANA database administration efforts under ASRC Federal’s CECOM SETA Support within the PEO EIS MSP. The PEO EIS MSP ensures that the U.S. Army’s data and databases are efficiently managed and secure. As a Data Analyst Senior (SAP HANA DBA), you will be responsible for managing SAP HANA databases, ensuring their performance, reliability, and security while supporting data sourcing, integration, and analysis tasks. Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university in business management, marketing, administration, information technology, or a closely related field. An advanced degree is preferred. - 5 years minimum experience working with data, including data sourcing, data analysis, and data integration, within the last 7 years. - 3 years minimum professional business experience developing Tableau applications, dashboards, and data models within the last 5 years. This experience may be concurrent with the above experience. - Strong SQL skills to query SAP HANA (SQL) databases. - 2 years of experience with data analysis tools like Alteryx is preferred. - 2 years minimum Business Intelligence experience, including experience with data sourcing, data integration, and data quality projects within the last 5 years. This experience may be concurrent with the above experience. - Experience analyzing and defining business processes and documentation that need IT solutions. - Ability to work with minimal direction and focus on delivering results in a fast-paced work environment. - Must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future. - Active DoD Secret clearance or higher.
