Role Description This position supports data analysis and SAP HANA database administration efforts under ASRC Federal’s CECOM SETA Support within the PEO EIS MSP. The PEO EIS MSP ensures that the U.S. Army’s data and databases are efficiently managed and secure. As a Data Analyst Senior (SAP HANA DBA), you will be responsible for managing SAP HANA databases, ensuring their performance, reliability, and security while supporting data sourcing, integration, and analysis tasks. Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university in business management, marketing, administration, information technology, or a closely related field. An advanced degree is preferred. - 5 years minimum experience working with data, including data sourcing, data analysis, and data integration, within the last 7 years. - 3 years minimum professional business experience developing Tableau applications, dashboards, and data models within the last 5 years. This experience may be concurrent with the above experience. - Strong SQL skills to query SAP HANA (SQL) databases. - 2 years of experience with data analysis tools like Alteryx is preferred. - 2 years minimum Business Intelligence experience, including experience with data sourcing, data integration, and data quality projects within the last 5 years. This experience may be concurrent with the above experience. - Experience analyzing and defining business processes and documentation that need IT solutions. - Ability to work with minimal direction and focus on delivering results in a fast-paced work environment. - Must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future. - Active DoD Secret clearance or higher. Candidates without a minimum of a Secret clearance will not be considered. Requirements - Minimum 5 years of experience as a SAP HANA Database (DB) administrator. - Exposure to different remote access options in HANA systems. - Experience in monitoring, tuning, and troubleshooting SAP HANA systems. - Experience in HANA system administration using SAP HANA Cockpit and HANA Studio. - Experience in managing users and roles in SAP HANA systems. - Proficiency in implementing SAP HANA Table management techniques, including data compression, table partitioning, compression techniques, and loading/unloading tables into memory, as well as HANA Installation, Data Provisioning, Admin, and Modeling. - Familiarity with SAP BusinessObjects, HANA integration, and design documentation. - Experience with high availability and backup mechanisms. - Experience implementing SAP HANA Security mechanisms, HANA XS Application services, and monitoring HANA systems. • Define and enforce coding standards, development frameworks, design patterns, and deployment processes across the Technology organization. • Design, develop, test, implement, and support Oracle-based applications, packages, stored procedures, functions, triggers, and integrations. • Develop and optimize complex SQL and PL/SQL code to support business applications and improve system performance. • Collaborate with business stakeholders, architects, and Technology teams to translate business requirements into scalable and maintainable Oracle solutions. • Perform database design, data modeling, schema management, and data integrity validation activities. • Monitor and tune database and application performance, identifying bottlenecks and implementing optimization strategies. • Administer Oracle databases, including installation, configuration, patching, upgrades, cloning, and environment management. • Manage database security, user access, roles, privileges, and compliance with organizational standards. • Develop and maintain backup, recovery, disaster recovery, and business continuity procedures to ensure data protection and system availability.

• Manage and maintain Oracle databases (19c and newer) across multiple environments • Perform database installations, upgrades, patching, and migrations • Implement backup/recovery strategies and disaster recovery solutions • Monitor database performance and tune SQL, memory, and storage • Manage database security, roles, and access controls • Support PDB/CDB architecture, and database consolidation strategies • Install, configure, and upgrade Oracle APEX and ORDS environments • Manage APEX schemas, users, and workspace configurations • Support APEX application deployments and lifecycle management • Troubleshoot APEX performance, session management, and runtime issues • Configure ORDS connections, pools, and security integration • Manage multi-environment setups (DEV, QA, PROD) • Provide Tier 3 support for database and APEX incidents • Develop automation scripts for deployments, monitoring, and maintenance • Ensure compliance with security and audit requirements

• Owns the end-to-end health, reliability, and performance of database environments through proactive monitoring, maintenance, and observability. • Reviews database backups, maintenance activities, and health reports to ensure issues are identified and resolved within defined SLAs. • Responds to database alerts and escalations, serving as an L3 escalation point and driving root-cause analysis and long-term corrective actions. • Leads database performance tuning initiatives, including query optimization, index strategy, and workload-specific configuration improvements. • Partners with Database Engineering to assess database performance trends and identify systemic risks or improvement opportunities. • Collaborates with Cloud Engineering and Application Development teams to support scalable deployments and performance optimization. • Defines and enforces database security standards in partnership with engineering and security stakeholders. • Deploys and manages database objects (tables, indexes, views, stored procedures, packages) across multiple environments. • Participates in a 24/7 on-call rotation and provides L1–L3 support as required. • Contributes to planning and execution of initiatives that enhance database resiliency, availability, and operational transparency.
