Bilingual Inside Sales Representative
Avantor
• Manage a diverse customer territory spanning multiple markets, executing effective sales strategies to drive revenue and margin growth • Proactively identify and secure new business opportunities by maintaining a strong pipeline and preparing compelling, value-focused proposals • Grow existing accounts by aligning Avantor solutions with evolving customer needs and long-term retention objectives • Engage customers in a consultative manner to understand their operations, identify opportunities, and recommend appropriate solutions • Build and maintain strong, lasting relationships to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty • Work closely with sales leadership and internal specialists to develop proposals, action plans, and growth strategies • Leverage marketing tools, data, and reports (including sales analytics and forecasting) to guide decision-making • Analyze and confidently discuss business performance, account activity, and forecast accuracy • Represent Avantor’s mission and values while adhering to the Company Code of Conduct • Travel occasionally to customer sites, for trainings, and to annual sales conferences (including to the United States)
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a scientific discipline or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- 0–3 years of success in a complex B2B sales environment, ideally solution-based and involving multiple decision-makers
- Proven track record of meeting sales targets through a strategic, consultative approach
- Ability to apply structured sales methodologies (e.g., SPIN, Challenger, Miller Heiman)
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to plan and sell strategically within accounts
- Comfortable engaging business owners and senior decision-makers in value-focused conversations
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong collaboration skills with customers, colleagues, management, and internal teams
- Bilingual in French and English (spoken and written) to support customers, suppliers, and colleagues outside Quebec
- Proficient with Microsoft Office; experience with C4C and/or Qlik Sense is an asset
- Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and prioritize territory activities
- Valid driver’s license and availability for occasional travel
- Ability to travel to the United States for annual sales meetings and periodic trainings
