Reporting Analyst – Apprenticeship Funding

MDD Forensic Accountants

• Work alongside the Operations and Compliance teams to provide reporting and analysis for the business • Benchmark business performance against industry statistics • Design reports with government funding rules in mind • Read and understand complex government documentation • Draw conclusions using relevant documents alongside company funding rules interpretation • Run reports from main data source, and occasionally historical data • Create visual and informative dashboards for stakeholders • Manipulate and analyse data to inform senior management teams decisions • Use Aptem, Thrive, and other platforms to run reports • Maintain student and DLS data in line with policies and procedures • Use advanced Excel functions and formulas to interrogate and present data • Conduct detailed analysis and reporting • Research and investigate government documentation to support reporting • Cross collaborate with colleagues in the wider ProfEd function • Attend company events or meetings as required • Support colleagues with Excel and other data platforms

Job Requirements

  • Strong experience of working in the Government funded education (apprenticeship) space.
  • Knowledge of previous Skills Funding Agency or current Department for Education [DfE] funding regulations, essential.
  • Understanding of the post-16 education sector
  • Experience of working with Financial Services Qualifications and/or in a regulated environment, helpful
  • Strong working experience with Excel including advanced functionalities
  • Experience using OData / APIs and other integrations, helpful
  • Confident report writing and presentation skills, advantageous
  • Experience working with Aptem & Thrive platforms, helpful
  • Ability to work independently, attempt autonomous decision making and problem solving, essential
  • Excellent administrative and organisational abilities
  • Able to work in a discreet, confidential matter as required

Role Description Trillium Health Resources has a career opening for a Business Intelligence Analyst to join our team! This position’s primary responsibilities include conducting data analysis activities for Trillium. This involves assuring compliance with the DMH and DMA contract requirements as well as other external and internal reporting needs. The Business Intelligence Analyst will be responsible for developing and completing reports as well as assisting the Trillium Informatics and Data Science departments. On a typical day, you might: - Develop analytical reports, including data mining, data management, conducting analysis, summarizing, and interpretation of results, to include the identification of patterns and trends in data. Make recommendations on matters of significance that could impact the agency. - Maintain schedule of external reporting per contracts and internal reporting as requested. Distribute, interpret and present reports to departmental staff and internal/external committees and/or stakeholders as needed. - Ensure that data from reports are presented in a user-friendly format and made accessible to staff, consumers, and community members. Ensure all reports include appropriate references to data sources so that reports can be replicated if requested. - Ensure data in reports is accurate and timely. Reconcile differences between data from different sources. Ensure all reports are submitted within assigned deadlines to avoid possible penalties or plans of correction. - Use data visualization tools such as Power BI for dashboards and reporting. Analyze and report statistical data on populations, disabilities, and cultural factors. Make recommendations on matters of significance that could impact the agency. Role Description The Senior BI Reporting and Dashboard Developer is part of the central T-Systems Digitalization Unit and is responsible for analysing reporting requirements and translating them into reliable, user-friendly dashboards and reports. The role combines business analysis, data analysis, reporting development, data modelling, and quality assurance. Role Description The Intelligence Analyst, assigned to one of Pinkerton’s largest global clients, will be responsible for executing global intelligence analysis services in support of the Global Security Intelligence Program. The Analyst is responsible for performing day-to-day monitoring, conducting trend identification and analysis, and facilitating deeper research and assessment of key topics or issues relevant to Global Security needs.
