Structural Engineer – Mid-Senior Level

• Review job drawings and provide clear design direction to engineers and designers. • Review and check structural designs for accuracy, efficiency, and code compliance. • Seal structural drawings as required. • Guide design teams in reducing structural weight while maintaining safety and performance. • Intervene directly with design solutions to keep projects on budget. • Design field fixes and provide engineering solutions as issues arise. • Assist in developing and maintaining engineering standards and standard procedures. • Occasionally design entire projects or portions of projects as needed.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Engineering (required).
- Active Professional Engineer (P.E.) license (required).
- Minimum of 5 years of structural design experience in the Metal Building or PEMB industry.
- Strong practical, hands-on design experience with metal building systems.
- Ability to manage multiple responsibilities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent technical judgment, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
