Software Testing Engineer About the Role Conduent is seeking an experienced Software Testing Engineer to support the validation, performance, and quality of our software systems. In this role you will communicate and collaborate with cross-functional teams actively (I.e. Product and Project Management, Development, Business Analysts, Developers, Quality Assurance, and training teams) within waterfall, agile, SDLC methodologies and translate team specifications, designs and other artifacts into meaningful documentation for both the business and technical user on release enhancements, defect resolutions and product notifications. Key Responsibilities - Knowledge of EDI transaction sets (e.g.,834,820,835, 837,999) and the business processes behind them - Update test plan documentation to keep current with frequent requirement changes - Identify gaps or ambiguities in EDI requirements - Research, analyze, and understand data elements in EDI systems, as well as inbound and outbound vendor systems - Validate mapping between internal systems and EDI formats (X12, EDIFACT, XML, JSON) - Ensure correct translation of fields, segments, loops, qualifiers, and codes - Improve content in response to feedback from cross -functional and colleagues in a timely manner - Adapt quickly to new scenarios that require specific skill sets and have high levels of ambiguity - Have experience in SQL experience (Oracle and/or DB2/Postgre SQL) - Expertise in API testing using tools like Postman, SoapUI, or RestAssured - Knowledge of using Azure-DevOps(ADO) and JIRA - Strong knowledge of QA methodology and process - Have experience in defining test strategy spanning across multiple systems, writing test plans Qualifications Minimum Requirements 7+ years’ experience in EDI experience, specifically involving platform or system migrations.
