Role Description We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Data Engineering Associate to join our growing team. This role will support mission-driven initiatives by designing, building, and maintaining scalable data solutions while delivering actionable insights to stakeholders. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, technically strong, and comfortable working in secure environments. - Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines and workflows to support analytics and reporting needs - Perform advanced data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and insights that inform decision-making - Develop and maintain interactive dashboards and visualizations to communicate complex data clearly to business stakeholders - Work within Foundry to build, manage, and optimize data pipelines (or leverage prior Foundry training experience) - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions - Ensure data quality, integrity, and security across systems - Apply strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills to complex datasets Qualifications - Experience working in Foundry or completion of Foundry training with hands-on data pipeline experience - Experience developing or maintaining interactive dashboards and data visualizations - Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently Requirements - Experience working in secure or government environments - Experience supporting mission-critical or operational analytics efforts - Familiarity with modern data architecture and cloud-based environments - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Computer Engineering, or related field - 5+ years of experience in data analysis, data visualization, or data pipeline engineering - 5+ years of experience with programming languages such as Python, R, or SQL for data manipulation and analysis Working Conditions - Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
