Strategic Technical Project Manager

• Own end-to-end accountability for complex, multi-workstream customer engagements, including scope, timelines, budget, and risk management. • Partner with executive stakeholders to define success criteria, governance structures, and outcome validation frameworks. • Translate business objectives into structured delivery plans, work breakdown structures, and cross-functional execution models. • Drive disciplined scope control, change management, and financial oversight across strategic engagements. • Coordinate cross-functional teams including Solution Architecture, Customer Success, Product, and Engineering to ensure aligned delivery. • Identify and proactively mitigate risks across technical, operational, and organizational dimensions. • Ensure technical solutions are architecturally sound by partnering with technical teams, without serving as the primary engineer. • Lead steering committees and executive status reviews, communicating progress, risks, and outcome alignment. • Develop reusable playbooks, governance frameworks, and strategic delivery standards to elevate the broader Professional Services practice. • Mentor Senior TPMs and contribute to leadership capability within the team.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) and 10+ years of relevant experience.
- 7+ years managing enterprise-grade software or SaaS implementations within Professional Services or Technical Consulting.
- Proven track record managing multi-workstream engagements with complex stakeholder environments and contract values exceeding $500K+.
- Strong project governance, financial management, and executive stakeholder alignment capabilities.
- Technical fluency in APIs, data models, and enterprise integrations sufficient to guide architectural discussions and manage risk.
- Experience partnering cross-functionally with Product and Engineering teams.
- Exceptional communication skills for both technical and executive audiences.
- Ability to operate effectively in fast-paced, evolving product environments.
- Willingness to travel up to 10–15%.

- The starting base salary range for this role is $150,000 – $160,000 USD annually.

This individual will bridge the EPMO''s technical delivery teams and program-level milestone tracking, translating delivery risks and achievements into language that Government stakeholders and leadership can act on. The role requires sufficient technical fluency to understand what engineers are building, manage integration-level dependencies, and produce accurate scope estimates for Salesforce, data pipeline, API, and AI/ML workstreams. Duties and Responsibilities: - Manage program-level milestone tracking for all platform and integration workstreams, including Salesforce, Azure data pipelines, API integrations, and AI/ML delivery tracks - Maintain and update the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) for all platform workstreams weekly; provide updated IMS at each weekly status meeting - Run weekly technical stand-ups and sprint reviews across platform workstreams; identify and escalate cross-platform dependencies and blockers - Translate technical risks, delivery achievements, and integration constraints into program-level status for Government stakeholders - Coordinate with Data Engineers, Salesforce Developers, and AI/ML Engineers to ensure foundational infrastructure readiness ahead of solution delivery timelines - Contribute Level-of-Effort (LOE) estimates and technical scope definitions for task order and special activities - Perform impact analysis when scope changes occur; communicate changes to Government stakeholders in program terms within two (2) business days - Coordinate environment provisioning readiness, QA sequencing, and production release scheduling with technical leads and the Azure DevOps Engineer - Produce bi-weekly technical delivery status reports for the COR and Program Director covering milestone status, open blockers, release readiness, and technical risk disposition - Ensure platform delivery complies with DevSecOps, security scanning, vulnerability remediation, and CI/CD governance. - Coordinate release readiness assessments across multiple Agile teams. • Plan, coordinate, and manage technical projects across the full software development lifecycle • Work with engineering and product teams to define project scope, goals, deliverables, and success criteria • Create and maintain detailed project plans, timelines, budgets, and resource allocations. • Track project performance using KPIs and project management tools • Identify and manage project risks, dependencies, and issues, ensuring timely resolution and escalation.
