• Run day-to-day campaign and flow execution across email and SMS • Build and maintain the retention calendar in lockstep with promotions, launches, and seasonal moments • Build, QA, and deploy sends end to end, including audiences, links, UTMs, tracking, scheduling, and final checks • Keep campaigns, flows, and reporting infrastructure operationally clean as the program scales • Build and maintain flows with clear logic, reliable triggers, and clean conditional paths • Design segments based on real customer behavior, lifecycle stage, purchase history, and engagement • Understand the underlying data well enough to know whether a trigger, segment, or conditional split is working as intended • Identify opportunities to improve customer journeys, reduce overlap, and increase revenue impact • Build and execute a continuous testing roadmap across messaging, offers, creative, segments, send times, flow steps, and customer journey logic • Design tests with clear hypotheses, success criteria, and enough rigor to distinguish real signal from noise • Pull, reconcile, and interpret performance data across relevant systems • Translate results into clear recommendations and documented learnings the team can compound on • Review copy and creative with a sharp conversion-focused eye • Understand hooks, angles, objections, urgency, positioning, and customer psychology • Improve AI-generated or draft copy into stronger final work • Brief copy and creative partners clearly with the context they need to do great work • Track campaigns through planning, build, review, QA, and launch • Anticipate bottlenecks and unblock them quickly • Keep stakeholders aligned on timelines, priorities, changes, and decisions • Stay plugged into acquisition, landing pages, offers, customer feedback, and the broader purchase journey so retention strategy reflects the full customer experience • Use AI daily as a force multiplier for thinking, execution, analysis, and workflow improvement • Build prompt chains, structured outputs, lightweight automations, and repeatable systems that reduce manual work • Critically evaluate AI outputs instead of accepting them at face value • Continuously expand your AI toolkit and bring useful new approaches to the team

Job Requirements

  • 3+ years of hands-on experience managing email and SMS programs in an ecommerce or DTC environment
  • Strong understanding of lifecycle marketing, flow logic, segmentation, and customer behavior
  • Demonstrated experience with A/B testing, including a clear point of view on test design, interpretation, and when results are meaningful
  • Deep working knowledge of a major email/SMS platform
  • Comfort working with numbers, pulling data from multiple sources, and turning performance into actionable conclusions
  • Working understanding of deliverability, list hygiene, suppression management, TCPA, CAN-SPAM, and platform compliance
  • Daily demonstrated use of AI beyond basic chat usage, including structured prompts, custom workflows, analysis, or lightweight automation
  • Strong editorial judgment and direct-response instincts
  • Excellent project management and organizational habits
  • Clear written and verbal communication
  • High ownership, strong follow-through, and the ability to manage high output without sacrificing quality
  • Comfort operating in a fast-paced environment where priorities shift and the bar is high

Role Description This is a remote position after a minimum 90-day orientation period. Contingent upon metrics being met after orientation.
