• We’re looking for a **Financial Controller** to join our growing team, focused on supporting a portfolio of **retail companies**. • You’ll be responsible for the full accounting cycle, financial reporting, inventory oversight, and advising leadership teams—while identifying opportunities for improved systems, processes, and profitability. • Serve as a trusted advisor to multiple retail business presidents, tailoring financial insights to their operational needs. • Lead full-cycle accounting operations including A/P, A/R, GL, inventory accounting, revenue recognition, and payroll. • Prepare trial balances, variance analyses, and financial reporting dashboards using OneStream or similar platforms. • Identify and implement process improvements across accounting systems, POS integrations, and reporting workflows.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA preferred)
- 5+ years of experience in a Controller or Senior Accounting role
- Proven experience in restaurant accounting, preferably with multi-location operations
- Background in small to medium-sized businesses; fractional or outsourced accounting experience a plus
- Tech-savvy and resourceful; comfortable in remote, fast-moving environments
- Proficiency in QuickBooks Online, POS systems, and Excel
- Working knowledge of US GAAP
