Job Description

GTM Engineer

Doppel

• Architect and manage data flows, integrations, APIs, and webhooks to ensure clean, reliable, and actionable data across systems. • Consolidate contacts, interaction history, and engagement signals from multiple sources into a single, enriched, trustworthy data foundation. • Build and evolve our prospecting architecture using tools like Clay, ZoomInfo, and Salesforce to identify high-intent accounts and contacts. • Develop new signal-based workflows (intent, enrichment, behavioral triggers) to improve targeting and timing. • Design and automate outbound and inbound campaign workflows aligned to ICP, personas, and messaging strategy. • Identify high-impact AI use cases and deploy AI agents, copilots, and workflows across GTM teams. • Build automations that reduce manual work (e.g., lead routing, enrichment, account research, sequencing triggers). • Maximize native AI capabilities across existing tools and evaluate new tools to enhance the stack. • Act as a bridge between technical systems and GTM teams. • Train Sales, Marketing, and CS on new workflows, tools, and AI capabilities. • Build internal champions and drive adoption of new systems and processes.

Job Requirements

  • 4–6+ years in GTM Engineering, Revenue Operations, Sales Systems, or similar technical GTM roles in B2B SaaS
  • Strong understanding of sales, marketing, and customer lifecycle processes and how systems support revenue outcomes
  • Deep experience with CRM and GTM tools listed in our stack above.
  • Proficiency in SQL and working with data warehouses (BigQuery preferred)
  • Experience building integrations using APIs, webhooks, and automation platforms (Zapier, Make, n8n, Workato, Clay)
  • Ability to design scalable workflows and data models across systems
  • Bonus: Experience with Python or JavaScript for lightweight scripting and automation
  • Hands-on experience deploying GenAI workflows, agents, or copilots in GTM contexts
  • Strong familiarity with tools like OpenAI, Claude, Gemini, or similar
  • Strong interest in staying ahead of trends in LLMs and agentic systems
  • Builder mentality: you enjoy turning ambiguity into structured systems
  • Highly analytical with strong problem-solving skills
  • Scrappy and execution-oriented—you ship fast, iterate, and scale what works
  • Strong cross-functional communicator able to translate business needs into technical solutions
  • Background in high-growth or AI-native companies.

Benefits

  • Health, dental, vision, 401(k), and generous parental leave.
  • Flexible PTO and flexible, remote-first culture.
  • Fast-growing team with immediate impact and visible results.
  • A culture that values documentation, data-driven decisions, and simple, scalable systems.

• Work up and down the full stack to ship features end to end, from the front end specialists see, through the APIs and services behind it, to the data and integration layers underneath. • Build the internal Experience Center portal that our specialists use, including case workflows, agent assist, supervisor views, and admin tooling. • Build and maintain the integrations that bring customer context, AI-drafted responses, and back office data to specialists at the moment of contact. • Develop the API and service layer that classifies inbound inquiries, assembles customer context, and routes work to the right specialist with a prepared brief. • Build data-backed views and reporting against Snowflake to give supervisors and operations leadership visibility into volume, queue health, and agent productivity. • Use AI-assisted coding tools (Cursor, Claude Code, GitHub Copilot) as a standard part of your day, in a team that has invested in those tools and built a real point of view on how to use them well. • Experiment with new AI tools, models, and techniques as they emerge, and bring back the patterns that work for the team. • Write, test, and deploy services on AWS using serverless components (Lambda, Step Functions, API Gateway, S3, DynamoDB) and modern CI/CD. • Partner with UX designers and product managers to turn workflow research and operations interviews into shippable features. • Monitor, troubleshoot, and continually improve the systems you ship.

• Enable end-to-end customer-facing Digital Experience platform, including authentication, the API gateway, the unified data layer, fraud and identity, and the application layer on top. • Shape an outcome-based delivery model for the Digital Experience Center of Excellence: tie engineering investment to measurable customer and business outcomes, validate impact after launch, and prioritize platform work by the outcomes it unlocks. • Set technical direction, patterns, and engineering standards for the Digital Experience Center of Excellence, including coordination with the Senior Software Engineer leading our internal Experience Center build. • Lead the hardest design work, and personally own the most critical and complex systems. • Stay hands-on as an individual contributor: write, review, and ship production code; pair with engineers across both pillars; lead incident response on the most consequential systems. • Partner with our Enterprise Solution Architects on enterprise-level architecture decisions (auth and identity, API and integration strategy, data architecture, fraud, vendor selection) and represent Digital Experience engineering in those conversations. • Architect integrations with our core policy administration systems, our fraud and identity providers, our internal generative AI platform, and our identity providers. • Drive adoption of AI-assisted coding tools (Cursor, Claude Code, Codex) at the team and Center of Excellence level, including the patterns, guardrails, and reviews that make AI-assisted development safe and productive in regulated software. • Mentor Software Engineers across both the Digital Experience and the Experience Center pillars, and act as the technical career model for our IC track. • Establish performance, reliability, security, and accessibility targets for the platform, and own the engineering practice that keeps us within them. • Identify, prioritize, and act on technical debt, platform reuse, and developer productivity work that compound team velocity over time. • Communicate technical decisions, tradeoffs, and risk clearly to engineering leadership, product partners, and senior business and technology stakeholders.

• Lead the Experience Center build end to end, from problem framing and architecture through production deployment and operations. • Drive outcome-based delivery for the Experience Center: partner with product to define the customer and business outcomes that matter, validate impact after launch, and prioritize work by the outcome it enables, not the features it ships. • Set technical direction and patterns for the Experience Center stack, in close coordination with the Staff Software Engineer leading the customer-facing Digital Experience track. • Personally write, review, and ship production code daily, especially during the foundational phase of the build. • Architect integrations with our internal generative AI platform, Salesforce, our core policy administration systems, and our telephony and CTI layer. • Establish and enforce engineering standards for the Experience Center: code review, testing, CI/CD, security, performance, accessibility. • Mentor and coach Software Engineers on the Experience Center team, and raise the team’s collective technical capability. • Champion AI-assisted coding tools (Cursor, Claude Code, Codex) and define the patterns that make them work in production. • Partner with UX, AI Engineering, automation, the Data Platform team, and the Service Excellence and Experience product team. • Lead incident response and post-incident review for the systems you own. • Maintain solution design documents, architecture decision records, runbooks, and onboarding material that scale the team’s knowledge.
