• Develop new product designs handling all phases required to bring concepts into production. • Interact directly with customers in design phases to verify customer requirements and make design recommendations; read and interpret customer drawings. • Lead design-for-manufacturing (DFM) taking into consideration cost effective manufacturing materials and processes. • Full design cycle accountability. • Work directly with supporting design/manufacturing engineers and follow all product development steps from raw material to fabrication, machining, forming, plating, install through shipping. • Work with manufacturing teams to develop and establish cost estimates and project options. • Travel to visit customers and manufacturing facilities when necessary. • Responsible for follow-up, expediting all action items of a new product program. • Interface with external clients and internal partners to ensure design objectives are met in a timely manner and assists by providing product information, engineering samples and technical advice. • Perform hands-on activities including mechanical screen tests, prototype fabrication, and part measurements.

• Lead the technology selection for next generation fiber optic connectors • Explore new materials & manufacturing technologies to enable the next generation of fiber optic connectors • Trial and optimize quick-turn design & analysis tools, disseminating knowledge and developing best practices to support data-driven product development • Utilize rapid prototyping methods to create Proof of Concept (POC) prototypes • Clearly document POC results for sharing to internal teams and for presentation to customers • Lead industry engagement on fiber optic connector standards • Collaborate with the manufacturing NPI teams to develop cost-competitive and creative concepts. Ensure designs are efficient to manufacture while meeting our high-performance market requirements • Interface with cross functional team members in signal integrity, manufacturing integration, product management, sales, state of the art test laboratories, on-premise model shop, and leadership teams • Facilitate knowledge sharing within and between cross functional teams via digital tools and interpersonal relationships • Create relationships with senior leadership, cross functional team members and peers through team building activities and growth opportunities operating as One Molex Team • Engage with external customers to develop next generation solutions that meets their needs • Provide advanced application and technical support to strategic customers

• The Product Development Engineer will assist in product development efforts for electro-mechanical interconnect (separable connectors) for Industrial applications. • This role involves providing technical expertise, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and involvement in projects from concept to production. • Design and development of next-generation products and components for the industrial connector market. • Interface with cross-functional team members including testing, manufacturing integration, project management, and sales. • Develop product and application specifications documents for testing that meet customer requirements. • Present concepts and detailed requirements to internal teams and customers to gain support for new product development. • Support Manufacturing and Quality Assurance during product launches and travel to manufacturing sites as needed. • Build relationships with cross-functional team members through team-building activities. • Identify, evaluate, and implement new technologies and methodologies for product development. • Work with marketing and external customers to define new project opportunities.

• Develop strong relationships with partners in Operations, Engineering, Maintenance, and Businesses teams • Provide remote and in-person technical troubleshooting and urgent care for utilities assets and processes • Mentor operations and maintenance resources to ensure minimum level of qualifications are met to operate and maintain assets • Support facility outages with particular focus on high value or high-risk projects to ensure success • Perform benchmarking and gap closure analysis for asset reliability and performance • Identify non-capital and capital improvement opportunities and partner with site and external engineering teams to develop, execute, and commission projects. • Develop multi-year asset strategy and implementation plans for responsible assets • Build and maintain OEM, vendor, contractor, and consulting network for responsible assets • Support the development and implementation of Design, Operate, and Maintain (DOM) standards for associated systems and assets • Collaborate with remote monitoring resources to develop and optimize monitoring strategies for responsible assets • Comply with Environmental, Health and Safety requirements in all activities with the objective of achieving zero incidents
