Cyber Vulnerability Analyst – Outsourcing

Vision Cybersecurity

• Conduct risk assessments to identify and classify threats and vulnerabilities in systems and networks; • Analyze logs and security events to detect suspicious patterns and anomalous behavior; • Use forensic analysis tools to investigate cybersecurity incidents and conduct detailed investigations; • Develop and implement action plans to remediate or mitigate identified vulnerabilities; • Collaborate with IT teams to deploy patches, fixes, and security enhancements; • Stay up to date on the latest security updates and patches provided by vendors; • Produce regular reports on cybersecurity status and present metrics to leadership; • Continuously review security processes and procedures, proposing and implementing improvements to strengthen the security posture; • Prioritize and recommend actions to remediate critical vulnerabilities identified; • Influence the adoption of security practices and processes across the organization to ensure compliance and protection.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in information technology, cybersecurity, or a related field;
  • Desirable knowledge of information security regulations such as GDPR, HIPAA, and PCI DSS;
  • Experience identifying, assessing, and quantifying cyber threats and vulnerabilities;
  • Practical knowledge of risk analysis tools and methodologies, such as SWOT and qualitative and quantitative analysis;
  • Experience with log analysis, security event monitoring, and digital forensic investigations;
  • Experience in vulnerability management and tracking system updates and security configuration processes;
  • Strong analytical ability to identify potential vulnerabilities and risks, classifying them according to severity;
  • Proficiency in using forensic analysis tools and security monitoring solutions;
  • Knowledge of vulnerability management processes, system configurations, and patch management;
  • Ability to translate technical findings into clear, concise reports for leadership;
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills with cross-functional teams (IT, information security, etc.);
  • Basic to intermediate knowledge of security regulations and compliance.
