VP, APAC Defence
Dataminr
• Plan, implement, and execute on sales strategy, leveraging market knowledge and experience to convey product value proposition and positioning across the Defence sector. • Grow a market vertical of strategic Defence clients across the APAC region. • Develop and maintain high-level relationships with key prospective customers, channel partners, and organisational leaders. • Lead client mission and operational processes, identifying ways to integrate Dataminr into our clients' workflows and recommending best practices. • Navigate procurement processes and cycles, liaising with senior executives across government and other agencies. • Provide business development and thought leadership through opportunity identification to grow new business, driving new capabilities and incremental business success. • Own and provide market leadership to sales teams, serving as subject matter expert throughout the full sales cycle. • Partner closely with cross-functional teams including Sales Operations, Marketing, and Product to drive operational and product improvements. • Maintain constant awareness of markets and competitive activity, making appropriate strategic and tactical sales recommendations to always stay one step ahead. • Ensure data hygiene with up-to-date and accurate forecasting of pipeline in SFDC.
Job Requirements
- 10+ years of proven Defence sales experience leading and scaling a Defence vertical
- Knowledge of publicly available information is desirable as is general awareness of artificial intelligence and machine learning technologies.
- Extensive experience successfully selling to Defence customers with a strong track record of negotiation and closing.
- Deep understanding of structured sales processes (e.g. MEDDPICC, Shipley, Miller Heiman).
- Strong solution selling skills with the ability to understand and demonstrate value from the customer’s perspective and align Dataminr products accordingly.
- Proven delivery of revenue targets and business objectives while devising and operating within a strategic business plan.
- Ideally, enterprise software and/or Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) experience is a plus but not essential.
- An entrepreneurial flair with intellectual curiosity, able to instill confidence in the market and inspire their teams.
- Ability to work together across teams and influence without positional authority.
- Open to travel as required.

AVP, Network Engagement locations Remote USA time type Full time job requisition id JR100219 Reports to: VP Operations and Network Engagement Travel: ≥ 20% Salary Range: $165K -$181,500 Position Overview: The AVP, 988 Network Engagement is responsible for driving engagement at the center, system, and potentially state levels to ensure that all people, processes, and structures are in place to enable the operating efficiency required to effectively implement and grow Lifeline’s services. They will provide specific oversight of wellness initiatives and ensures progress on a robust crisis care continuum. Duties/Responsibilities: - Builds organizational capabilities at Lifeline/988, driving efficiencies and harmonizing core programs and services with strategic engagement at the center and system levels (50%) - Leads the following departments: Center engagement, Crisis continuum (incl.
