Web UX/UI Developer

• Design and develop visually appealing, user-friendly websites from initial concept through final launch. • Create wireframes, user flows, mockups, and high-fidelity designs using UX/UI best practices. • Build and customize websites within CMS platforms such as WordPress, ensuring responsive, functional, and scalable implementations. • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate business objectives into effective digital experiences. • Develop websites ranging from small business sites to larger, more complex websites, including projects with e-commerce functionality when required. • Apply SEO best practices during website planning and development to improve search visibility and user experience. • Utilize AI-powered design and website-building tools to improve efficiency while maintaining high-quality deliverables. • Optimize websites for responsiveness, accessibility, performance, and usability across devices. • Prepare design assets and collaborate closely with development to ensure accurate implementation. • Perform website updates, CMS maintenance, design refinements, and ongoing improvements as needed. • Stay current with industry trends, emerging web technologies, UX best practices, SEO standards, and AI-powered development tools.
Job Requirements
- A minimum of 3 years of experience designing and developing websites.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating both UX/UI design work and live website implementations.
- Proven experience taking websites from concept through development and launch.
- Strong proficiency with WordPress, including theme customization, page builders, and CMS management.
- Experience working with HTML, CSS, and a solid understanding of responsive front-end development.
- JavaScript knowledge is a plus.
- Experience building or supporting e-commerce websites (WooCommerce, Shopify, or similar platforms) is highly preferred.
- Working knowledge of SEO fundamentals, including on-page optimization and website best practices.
- Proficiency with Figma and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, XD).
- Experience using AI-powered tools, particularly Claude, to support website design, content creation, development workflows, and productivity.
- Strong understanding of UX/UI principles, accessibility standards, and responsive web design.
- Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Advanced English proficiency required.
- Availability to overlap with U.S. business hours.
