• Design, implement, and manage observability solutions with the Elastic Stack (Elasticsearch, Kibana, Logstash, Beats, APM) • Monitor production systems for availability, performance, and error rates, ensuring SLAs are met • Analyze and resolve performance bottlenecks in ASP.NET, Classic ASP, PHP, and database-driven applications • Build dashboards, alerts, and automated workflows to improve incident detection and response • Collaborate with developers and DBAs to optimize SQL Server and PostgreSQL performance • Create runbooks, improve incident management processes, and drive root cause analysis for recurring issues • Implement best practices for performance tuning, scalability, and reliability across the stack • Participate in on-call rotations to support production environments
Job Requirements
- Hands-on experience with observability and monitoring platforms, ideally Elastic Stack
- Strong understanding of APM, logging, metrics, and tracing concepts
- Solid knowledge of SQL Server and PostgreSQL query tuning and performance troubleshooting
- Experience with ASP.NET, Classic ASP, and PHP application environments
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot across applications, databases, and infrastructure
- (Preferred) Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP) and infrastructure monitoring
- (Preferred) Scripting experience (PowerShell, Python, or Bash) for automation and integrations
