Role Description We are seeking a Senior AI/ML Software Engineer to build AI-powered data products and modern digital experiences across our analytics and healthcare platforms. This is a hands-on full-stack engineering role focused on developing intelligent applications for Compass reporting and the Quality & Patient Safety (QPS) platform. Qualifications - Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Engineering, AI/ML, Data Science, related field, or the equivalent experience. - 6+ years of hands-on software engineering experience building enterprise-scale applications. - 4+ years of hands-on experience in React, TypeScript, JavaScript, Java/Spring Boot, Python, REST APIs, and SQL. - 1+ years of experience in designing, developing, and deploying AI/ML and Generative AI solutions in production environments. - 2+ years of experience with LLMs, RAG architectures, vector databases, prompt engineering, AI agents, and AI application development. - 4+ years of experience building cloud-native applications on Azure, AWS, or GCP. - 3+ years of experience with modern data platforms such as Snowflake, Databricks, or Microsoft Fabric. - 4+ years of experience with microservices, distributed systems, CI/CD, automated testing, observability, and software engineering best practices. - Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills. Preferred Qualifications - Experience in healthcare, analytics, quality, patient safety, or reporting domains. - Experience with Apache Superset, Power BI, embedded analytics, or self-service BI platforms. - Experience with LangChain, Semantic Kernel, OpenAI, Azure AI Services, or similar AI frameworks. - Experience leading technical initiatives and mentoring engineers.
