Mid-level .NET Developer – Integration & Modernization
Invenzi
• Design and develop a .NET 10 integration service between software systems, consuming and exposing REST APIs; • Participate in migrating services from .NET Framework to modern .NET, identifying incompatibilities and proposing migration approaches, with support from a senior engineer; • Write tested, correct code: automated tests, error and concurrency handling, and useful diagnostic logging; • Diagnose and fix integration bugs in real environments by reproducing scenarios and analyzing logs and malformed data; • Collaborate via pull requests and code reviews, documenting technical decisions in English (code and comments in English).
Job Requirements
- C# / .NET at a mid-level (or junior with a solid foundation): writes, tests, and maintains production code;
- ASP.NET Core and building/consuming REST APIs;
- SQL and relational databases: modeling and queries (we use SQL Server and Oracle; familiarity with PostgreSQL is a plus);
- Understanding of integration between heterogeneous systems (the other side of integration is not .NET);
- Git, pull requests, and code review;
- Technical English for reading documentation and writing code/documentation.
