As a Business Development Representative – WOTC Partnerships at CTI, you will join a team that leverages the Company’s proprietary tax software to provide an accurate and efficient tax study with superior quality which maximizes business boosting benefits. Requirements WHAT YOU WILL DO The Business Development Representative – WOTC Partnerships is responsible for managing and developing partnerships with the purpose of generating and qualifying new WOTC opportunities through outbound prospecting and partner-driven lead sources. They will work with the Business Incentives Managing Director to oversee leads from CTI referral partners, track client interactions, and ensure the overall sales process runs smoothly. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES: - Provide support to the WOTC Sales Development team with day-to-day requests, including lead qualification, outbound outreach, and meeting scheduling. - Identify, pursue, and nurture partnerships with Payroll Providers, HRIS platforms, ATS systems, and other relevant industry entities, managing existing partnerships and fostering new relationships. - Serve as the primary point of contact for WOTC partnership relationships, facilitating communication between Business Development team and partner representatives, providing regular updates to both internal teams and partner contacts. - Generate and manage WOTC opportunities by educating prospects and partners on CTI’s services and assessing eligibility prior to scheduling meetings. - Assist with client experience: manage partnership leads, schedule meetings, and handle engagement letters, while maintaining detailed records in Salesforce. - Manage partnership client inquiries via phone, email, mail, or social media. - Leverage reporting tools to track partnership performance, providing insights and updates on progress, and developments to both internal teams and partner executives. - Collaborate with marketing to develop co-branded materials, establish webinar cadences, and create educational strategies for partner sales teams, ensuring all necessary marketing and technology resources are available to support partnerships. - Organize and attend partnership-focused events and conferences to foster relationships and identify new referral opportunities. - Additional duties and responsibilities as assigned. WHAT YOU WILL NEED: - Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team. - Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment, working effectively with minimal supervision, whether onsite, in a hybrid setting or fully remote. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills. - Highly organized and detail oriented with the ability to prioritize, plan, and organize activities. - Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. - Ability to provide excellent customer service, including patience, a friendly attitude, empathy towards internal/external stakeholders, and with the appropriate sense of urgency. - Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills. - Strong analytical skills and reasoning abilities. - Flexible and adaptable, willing to evolve and meet changing organizational needs. - Capable of handling sensitive data with confidentiality and discretion. - Ability to recognize when an incident needs to be escalated. - This role has access to sensitive information and is expected to adhere to all CTI, ISO 27001 and SOC2 policies. - A willingness to learn and adapt to CTI’s study process, quality control requirements, and management expectations. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: - Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communications, or Advertising Sales preferred, but not required. - Minimum 1-2+ years’ business-to-business sales experience.
