• Review patient medical records and utilize clinical and regulatory knowledge and skills, as well as, knowledge of payer requirements to determine why cases/claims are denied and complete an appeal. • Utilize pre-existing criteria and other resources and clinical evidence to develop sound and well-supported appeal arguments. • Prepare convincing appeal arguments, using pre-existing criteria sets and/or clinical evidence from existing library of clinical references and/or regulatory guidelines to prepare the response to the payer in an effort to overturn the denial in a professional and concise manner. • Prepare convincing appeal arguments, using pre-existing criteria sets and/or clinical evidence from existing library of clinical references and/or regulatory guidelines to prepare for an Administrative Law Judge hearing and participate in hearings by providing testimony, as necessary. • Search for supporting clinical evidence to support appeal arguments when existing resources are unavailable. Actively seek out opportunities for appeal by reviewing all insurance denials within assigned region. • Prepare data and analytics and share with the Director and Executive Team and provide feedback to hospitals regarding trends in denied claims. • Discuss documentation-related and level of care decisions with hospitals, independently, as required. • Have the ability to proficiently read, understand and communicate in writing abstract information from patient medical records in a professional manner. • Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations, including confidentiality, as required.

• Own the deal path, end to end • Review and approve standard order forms, discounts, and payment terms so AEs can close without a bottleneck • Lead the most complicated new deals and renewals: multi-year, custom payment structures, non-standard terms • Partner with AEs before quotes go out so we shape deals we can actually book and invoice cleanly • Act as our POC with our outside commercial counsel to review customer redlines and legal communications • Redesign our manual invoice / order form process into something an AE can drive independently, with your review at the tail end • Build the checks, templates, and CPQ/CRM configuration that keep AE-driven deals inside the guardrails • Track where standard requests still get stuck and remove the friction, whether it lives in HubSpot, Stripe, or our internal process • Work with the Customer Success team so they can independently handle common invoicing changes, refunds, and Stripe actions on behalf of customers • Write the playbooks and set the guardrails so CS knows when they can act and when to loop you in • Make sure deals close in a way Finance can recognize cleanly: correct billing terms, clean Stripe records, accurate CRM data • Partner with Accounting on month-end cleanup for anything non-standard that hit the ledger

Qualifications - Bachelors in a related field or 4 years of equivalent experience may be considered in lieu of Bachelor's degree, upon hire. - 3 years working with systems analysis programming/design. - 5 years of additional relevant experience: application support, implementation, or development experience with applications in a hospital or medical related industry. - EPIC Certification, within 120 Days. - Beaker CP required. - AP strongly preferred. - Must have demonstrable and sustained experience supporting Beaker implementations. - Full life cycle support strongly preferred. - Previous in-lab clinical experience is preferred.
