• Serve as technical lead incident response engagements. • Develop and use new methods to hunt for bad actors across large sets of data. • Work under the direction of outside counsel to conduct intrusion investigations. • Perform host and/or network-based forensics across Windows, Mac, and Linux platforms. • Produce high-quality written and verbal reports, presentations, recommendations, and findings to key stakeholders including customer management, regulators, and legal counsel. • Demonstrate industry thought leadership through blog posts, CrowdCasts, and other public speaking events.

• Provide regularly scheduled caseload consultation to Behavioral Health Care Managers • Work with Behavioral Health Care Managers to oversee the status and population health of their assigned patient caseload • Recommend any treatment adjustments through the case review process or in ad hoc consultations • Advise on treatment for patients who may need more intensive or more specialized mental health care • Be available to provide occasional ad hoc telephone consultation to primary care providers for very complex patients or challenging patient situations

• Provide consultation and support to managers, people teams, and members that enhances employee wellbeing and workplace effectiveness mainly onsite at the customer location in Toronto at Pearson airport for 8 hours a month (two shifts of 4 hours). • Provide solution-focused employee mental health consultation and connection to appropriate resources. • Proactively develop strong and trusting relationships with leaders and HR POCs and execute against a local action plan for your site. • Coordinate and deliver critical incident response • Conduct company tailored trainings and Spring Health benefit promotion events • Develop expert-level understanding of the customer benefit ecosystem and available support programs, and are able to provide appropriate referrals to members. • Complete required internal training and assignments and attend Spring Health Clinical Team meetings • Follow Spring Health policies and maintain all confidentiality, compliance, and ethical standards • Track and monitor available data to identify strategic workplace wellbeing insights, recommend targeted interventions, and collaborate with customer points of contact to successfully deliver targeted interventions. • Assess for risk and manage member and organizational crises by providing in-the-moment support, triage, safety planning, and follow up. • Provide management consultation that enhances employee wellbeing and workplace effectiveness. • Identify and problem-solve issues that serve as a barrier or disruption to care, with support from leadership. • Complete accurate and timely documentation of all service delivery. • Represent Spring Health and help to support/reinforce program parameters and goals. • Communicate with local points of contact and cascade any needs to Spring Health partners through routine meetings and touchpoints. • Proactively develop relationships with key customer contacts and attend customer meetings as requested/appropriate.

Position Summary This Utilization Management (UM) Nurse Consultant role is fully remote but must reside in PST zone. Normal Working Hours: -Monday through Friday between 8am-5pm PST. -There is a weekend shift requirement (Saturday and Sunday both) per the needs of the team - Holiday rotation per the need of the department (typically 1 holiday per year). There is no travel expected with this position. As a Utilization Management Nurse Consultant, you will utilize clinical skills to coordinate, document and communicate all aspects of the utilization/benefit management program. You would be responsible for ensuring the member is receiving the appropriate care at the appropriate time and at the appropriate location, while adhering to federal and state regulated turn-around times. This includes reviewing written clinical records. The UM Nurse Consultant job duties include (not all encompassing): -Reviews services to assure medical necessity, applies clinical expertise to assure appropriate benefit utilization, facilitates safe and efficient discharge planning and works closely with facilities and providers to meet the complex needs of the member. -Utilizes clinical skills to coordinate, document and communicate all aspects of the utilization/benefit management program. -Utilizes clinical experience and skills in a collaborative process to assess, plan, implement, coordinate, monitor and evaluate options to facilitate appropriate healthcare services/benefits for members -Gathers clinical information and applies the appropriate clinical criteria/guideline, policy, procedure, and clinical judgment to render coverage determination/recommendation along the continuum of care -Communicates with providers and other parties to facilitate care/treatment -Identifies members for referral opportunities to integrate with other products, services and/or programs -Identifies opportunities to promote quality effectiveness of Healthcare Services and benefit utilization -Consults and lends expertise to other internal and external constituents in the coordination and administration of the utilization/benefit management function. Required Qualifications -Must reside in PST zone. -RN with active and unrestricted state licensure in state of residence -3+ years of clinical experience as an RN preferably in the following areas: Med/Surg, Telemetry, ICU, NICU, Long term care, cardiology Preferred Qualifications -1+ years’ experience in either Precertification or Utilization Review -1+ years’ experience Managed Care -Strong telephonic communication skills -1+ years’ experience with Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Outlook) -Experience with computers toggling between screens while using a keyboard and speaking to customers. -Ability to exercise independent and sound judgment, strong decision-making skills, and well-developed interpersonal skills -Ability to manage multiple priorities, effective organizational and time management skills required -Ability use a computer station and sit for extended periods of time Education -Associates Degree in Nursing required, BSN preferred Anticipated Weekly Hours 40 Time Type Full time Pay Range The typical pay range for this role is: $29.10 - $68.55 This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.
