Role Description The Mechanical Engineer Expert will be responsible for the following: - Create clear and accurate single choice questions rooted in mechanical engineering concepts for AI training applications. - Translate advanced mechanical engineering knowledge into accessible assessment content covering: - Solid & Structural Mechanics - Dynamics & Vibration & Control - Thermal-Fluids - Ensure technical rigor, relevance, and real-world applicability in all content produced. - Document rationales and explanations for answer choices to support AI training datasets. - Collaborate remotely with project coordinators and adhere to milestones for content delivery. - Conduct quality checks and revisions on contributed materials based on feedback. - Maintain precise records of assignments and submissions using provided digital tools. Qualifications - PhD or MS in Mechanical Engineering, with specialization in one or more of: Solid & Structural Mechanics, Dynamics & Vibration & Control, or Thermal-Fluids. - Proven expertise in translating complex mechanical engineering principles into clear written content. - Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to articulate intricate concepts effectively. - Experience in educational content creation, assessment design, or technical writing is highly desirable. - Meticulous attention to detail and commitment to technical accuracy. - Self-motivated, organized, and comfortable working independently in a remote engagement. - Familiarity with collaborative online platforms or digital workflow tools is a plus.

Role Description We are looking for an experienced Manufacturing Design Engineer to support a project focused on improving how advanced AI systems understand mechanical design and production-ready engineering workflows. - Create and modify parametric 3D models of mechanical parts and assemblies. - Produce manufacturing-ready drawings with GD&T and tolerance specifications. - Design components for CNC machining, sheet metal, plastics, and injection molding. - Review CAD models for dimensional accuracy and manufacturability. - Perform tolerance stack-up and basic design validation. - Prepare assembly instructions and technical reference documentation. - Identify design issues and recommend practical improvements. - Revise models and documentation based on technical feedback. • Own the mechanical aspects of production test fixtures, jigs, and enclosures • Lead upkeep and adjustment oversight across CM sites • Support NPI mechanical readiness and bring a strong manufacturing perspective into hardware development reviews • Maintenance and continuous improvement of production testing setups, jigs, mechanical enclosures, and assembly tooling • Ensure compatibility, standardization, and seamless integration of jigs across multiple product lines and CM sites • Own and enforce maintenance/calibration processes across all products and contract manufacturing locations • Author process documentation • Lead quarterly maintenance audits at CM facilities • Drive calibration frequency reduction initiatives • Perform data-driven analysis of test equipment limits (mating cycles, cable wear) • Recommend and approve limit extensions based on engineering data and risk assessment • Escort new products through mechanical readiness achievements • Support station duplication and mechanical training for CM technicians • Provide hands-on technical support to global CMs • Resolve mechanical gaps, fixture issues, and production blockers in real-time • Conduct structured quality audits at manufacturing sites focused on mechanical processes, fixture condition, and maintenance compliance • Drive corrective actions • Identify potential mechanical issues early in the design cycle • Review and process Engineering Change Orders related to fixtures, mechanical assemblies, and production tooling
• Responsible for the engineering, design, development, timing, and production release of interior components and systems. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate design and development of interior systems. • Contribute to the continuous improvement of the design and release processes.
