JOB DESCRIPTION - Follows complex defined test plans and datasheets with necessary supervision /support. - Evaluates test performance and sample operation to properly evaluate test results. - Records and explains test results and completes test report. - Serves as Project Lead for simple test programs as assigned with the necessary assistance. - Communicates project status and results as needed. - Holds responsibility for defining test plan, report completion and accuracy, meeting of agreed deadlines, and managing project related activities. - Examines complex customer samples with help and learns to operate appropriate tests for each case. - Communicates with customers during setup and operation to ensure proper evaluation. - Understands specific test standards and product technology for scope of responsibility. - Directs, builds and/or adapts simple test setups and equipment for assigned work, based on test plans and instructions from engineering. - Operates and maintains complex test equipment appropriately to measure and test customer samples. - Performs complex maintenance on designated test equipment and laboratory area. - May perform complex calibration of test equipment Integrates basic continuous improvement concepts and techniques for both process and equipment. - Communicates with management and technical staff to provide suggestions for new equipment, processes, and forms to improve accuracy and efficiencies. - Read and follow the Underwriters Laboratories Code of Conduct and follow all physical and digital security practices.. - Other duties as directed. RESPONSIBILITIES UL Field Engineering Team is hiring in the Denver, CO area. A Field Engineer performs safety and non-safety certification inspections, audits of quality systems and field evaluations in accordance with the required performance standards and requirements. UL Solutions' Field Engineering team works on-site with our customers to understand their needs and how they meet the market's needs. We help to ensure that all certified products continue to comply with UL Solutions' requirements and partner with customers to help them meet their changing needs. - Assists in analyzing and evaluating examination and test results against applicable requirements. - Uses technical judgement to determine whether noncompliance variations compromise the continued application of the UL Mark and determine if alternative is achieved. - Assists in interpreting and analyzing examination and test results against UL requirements, verifying the accuracy of manufacturers' measuring equipment and reviewing production and inspection records. - Periodically reviews manufacturers' programs of production, inspection, and shipping to ensure products are produced and marked in compliance with UL requirements. - Evaluates and facilitates options for corrective action where variations from UL requirements are noted. - Communicates with manufacturers and customers, Authorities Having Jurisdiction and others to conduct non-safety and safety certification inspections. Investigates misuse of UL Mark situations. - Provide general information on policies and procedures for the varied UL services along with promoting and explaining the benefits of new and existing services. - Discuss procedures, test methods, test results, sample selection and variations in products, devices, processes, systems and materials as necessary to resolve problems, implement changes to existing requirements or help develop new requirements. - Use instruments to perform inspections, such as micrometers, voltmeters, ammeters, and other UL supplied equipment. Observes use of manufacturer's equipment necessary to meet UL requirements. Confirms proper calibration of manufacturers' measuring equipment and may perform calibration of UL supplied equipment. - Document examination, variations and test results to appropriate UL forms. Maintains logs for scheduling inspections, time and expenses. Performs various calculations in more than one specific engineering field such as electrical, mechanical, chemical, or fire protection. - Integrates continuous improvement concepts and techniques into all aspects of the job. #LI-Remote #LI-MB1 QUALIFICATIONS - University Degree or Equivalent Technical Certification (preferred) in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Industrial Technology, Manufacturing Technology, or Physics. Generally no directly related experience or less than 1 year experience may be acceptable.Commensurate experience could be considered. - Experience in Field Engineering, Compliance, or Quality Engineering preferred. - ASQ certification a plus. - Experience with UL Standards, 508A, Industrial Control Panels a plus. - General electronics background, and strong mechanical and technical aptitude with the ability to read and interpret schematic diagrams. - Ability to cross sell and understand client business needs. - Strong written and verbal communications skills, and client-interfacing skills. - Strong computer skills. - Conflict resolution skills. - Ability to work at heights. The estimated salary range for this position is $80,000 to $90,000 and is based on multiple factors, including job-related knowledge/skills, experience, geographical location, as well as other factors. This position is eligible for annual bonus compensation with a target payout of 5% of the base salary. • A hands on field-based role to repair our parcel lockers on client’s sites, task include Break-fix, Maintenance, software configuration, quality control, and providing technical support and training to employees and subcontractors. • Actively involved in developing new solutions and maintaining technical documentation. • Diagnosing and repairing faults and malfunctions of parcel locker machines (APMs) on site, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal performance. • Maintenance and modernisation of parcel locker machines, including implementing hardware and software upgrades to enhance reliability and efficiency. • Diagnostics, reconfiguration, and installation of computer software or firmware for computer, electronic, and electromechanical equipment, ensuring compatibility and security compliance. • Processing and reporting on assigned repairs using communication channels utilised within the organisation • Managing tools and components for parcel locker machines. • Handling systems for managing personnel-related matters. • Quality control of work performed by internal employees and subcontractors ensuring adherence to technical standards, contractual agreements, and company guidelines • Providing technical and substantive support to employees and subcontractors (including international ones) via communication and IT channels used within the company. • Participating in the development of solutions for new types of parcel locker machines. • Preparing and updating technical manuals and documentation.

Role Description The Electrophysiology Field Clinical Specialist will provide expert clinical product and technical assistance and training to physicians, laboratory staff, and sales representatives on the effective and safe use of the Farapulse and Opal system during case procedures within an assigned geography, and in a manner that leads to meeting and exceeding business goals. This role covers the region of Emilia-Romagna. - Serves as primary resource for clinical support in the areas of case coverage, basic troubleshooting, system, and software development. - Educates customers and internal Boston Scientific employees on the merits and proper clinical usage of the Farapulse and Opal device through presentations and demonstrations. - Attends cases in labs of hospital accounts for case support and development efforts of the Farapulse and Opal system and its components. - Provides initial and continuous training and feedback for development team and sales representatives on Farapulse, Opal development process, products and features, and procedures. - Meets with existing and potential clients to identify their clinical needs, goals, and constraints related to patient care. - Develops relationships with hospital personnel to identify key decision makers and facilitate future sales. - Responds to customer needs and complaints regarding products and service by developing creative and feasible solutions. - This remote field-based role will require travel (approximately 80%). - Residence in the Emilia-Romagna region is required.
