Financial Controller

SEARADAR

Role Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Financial Controller to join the Finance team at Searadar, a yacht charter marketplace. This role owns accounting and financial reporting operations, from commission invoicing to monthly management accounts, ensuring that bookkeeping, cash reporting, and operational data remain accurate and aligned across all systems. You will be the person who keeps the numbers consistent across accounting, cash, CRM, and management reporting while helping the finance team build reliable processes as the company continues to grow. Tasks - Prepare commission invoices to charter companies and issue credit notes when required. - Reconcile charter invoices against bookings and CRM data. - Process bank statements, classify transactions, and maintain accurate financial records. - Prepare monthly P&L and cash-based management reporting. - Maintain monthly plan vs. actual reporting and support annual reporting cycles. - Reconcile data across accounting, banking, CRM, and internal reporting systems. - Maintain the corporate financial document repository. - Support investor and management requests by preparing financial information and reports. - Investigate and resolve discrepancies across financial systems and operational data. - Continuously improve financial reporting processes and internal controls. Qualifications - Fluent Russian (written and spoken). - Working English (Intermediate or higher). - Experience in financial controlling, bookkeeping, management accounting, or financial operations. - Strong understanding of reconciliations and financial reporting. - Experience working with bank statements and financial documentation. - Strong Excel / Google Sheets skills. - High attention to detail and analytical mindset. - Ability to work independently and solve operational financial issues.
