Senior Data Engineer
OREDATA
• Develop, maintain, and optimize legacy ETL and DWH processes. • Work hands-on with Oracle, Teradata, SQL, PL/SQL, and stored procedures. • Develop IBM DataStage or similar ETL platforms such as Informatica or Ab Initio. • Participate in legacy-to-modern data migration projects. • Analyze existing data structures and map them to modern architectures. • Build and manage data pipelines using Apache Spark. • Read and write data from object storage environments such as AWS S3. • Contribute to technology evaluation, PoC studies, and future platform decisions. • Define technical standards and provide architectural guidance to data and analytical teams.
Job Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Data Engineering, ETL, or Data Warehouse environments.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering or a related Engineering discipline.
- Strong experience with traditional DWH and legacy data platforms.
- Hands-on experience with Oracle, Teradata, SQL, PL/SQL, and stored procedures.
- Development with IBM DataStage or similar ETL platforms such as Informatica or Ab Initio.
- Experience in at least one end-to-end data migration or legacy modernization project.
- Hands on experince with Apache Spark.
- Experience reading and writing data from AWS S3.
- Ability to work hands-on while contributing at Senior, Staff Engineer, or Data Architect level.
- Strong analytical, consultative, and communication skills.
