Role Description The Program & Analytics Manager is a strategic, individual-contributor role focused on driving high-impact initiatives that support business growth, reduce costs, increase efficiency, and reduce operational errors, grounded in rigorous data analysis. This role focuses on identifying opportunities, building data-backed business cases, and owning cross-functional projects end-to-end; from problem definition through implementation and measurement. You'll work closely with Operations leadership, Product, Technology, Finance, and external partners to turn data into strategy and strategy into measurable outcomes. Key Responsibilities - Identify and evaluate operational opportunities tied to cost reduction, efficiency gains, scalability, and error reduction. - Query and analyze complex datasets (SQL, spreadsheets, BI tools) to quantify impact, prioritize initiatives, and support decision-making. - Build clear business cases, success metrics, and ROI expectations for proposed initiatives. - Actively investigate and resolve immediate, high-priority issues (such as inventory discrepancies, order cancellations, and fulfillment bottlenecks) to ensure seamless service delivery and minimal customer impact. - Own strategic, cross-functional initiatives from concept through execution. - Define scope, timelines, risks, and dependencies. - Drive alignment across stakeholders and ensure accountability, without formal management authority. - Track progress and communicate outcomes and tradeoffs to leadership. - Redesign processes to reduce manual work, defects, and rework. - Leverage AI tools to automate repetitive manual tasks and free up capacity for higher-value work. - Partner with Product and Technology on system improvements and automation. - Update SOPs and operating models as new solutions are implemented. - Build and maintain dashboards and recurring reports to track KPIs and program performance. - Define KPIs and success metrics for initiatives. - Monitor performance post-launch, dig into root causes of variance, and iterate as needed. - Document learnings and share insights across teams. Qualifications - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a track record of using data to influence decisions and strategy. - Proficiency in SQL for querying and analyzing data. - Experience building dashboards/reports in BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Looker, Power BI). - Advanced Excel/Google Sheets skills (pivot tables, modeling, complex formulas). - Experience using AI tools to automate manual tasks and streamline workflows. - Proven experience driving cross-functional projects or programs. - Comfort working in ambiguity and defining problems from scratch. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills. - Self-motivated with a strong ownership mindset. - Intellectual curiosity and a bias toward inventing new approaches rather than defaulting to how things have always been done. - Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field (e.g., statistics, economics, mathematics, engineering, data science) required. Requirements - Available to work full shifts until 4:30pm PST. - Fluent in speaking, reading, and writing English. - Reliable high-speed internet connection for home office.
