Role Description Are you a passionate and experienced Musculoskeletal (MSK) Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) eager to be part of an innovative healthcare startup? Protera Health is seeking a dedicated Advanced Practice Provider to join our core clinical team, delivering exceptional virtual orthopedic care to patients nationwide. This role offers the unique opportunity to provide direct patient care while also contributing to a startup and shaping the future of MSK healthcare. Key Responsibilities - Conduct initial medical screenings for newly enrolled patients. - Perform follow-up medical assessments and escalations as needed. - Diagnose MSK conditions using comprehensive patient information. - Collaborate regularly with physicians, physician assistants, physical therapists, and health coaches to ensure favorable patient outcomes. - Engage with the broader clinical team to discuss complex cases and share best practices. - Adhere to and help refine clinical protocols and standard operating procedures. - Participate in clinical and operational initiatives to enhance patient care. Qualifications - Minimum of 2 years of MSK/Orthopedic experience. - Strong commitment to delivering top-tier MSK care with empathy and efficiency. - Excellent communication, organizational, and time-management skills. - Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment. - Enthusiastic about healthcare innovation and digital health solutions. - Reliable high-speed internet and a quiet, professional remote workspace. - Willingness to obtain additional state licenses as needed.
