Senior Java Software Engineer

• Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-level Java applications • Develop backend microservices using modern software engineering practices • Contribute to the improvement of development, build, and deployment processes • Design and implement secure, scalable, and high-performance solutions • Develop and integrate messaging-based and event-driven services • Implement OAuth authentication and authorization mechanisms • Develop unit and integration tests to ensure software quality • Support system deployment, configuration, and CI/CD pipeline implementation • Collaborate with Agile teams throughout the software development lifecycle • Participate in effort estimation, code reviews, and technical discussions • Produce and maintain technical documentation • Follow secure coding practices and implement logging and auditing mechanisms • Develop high-quality code using Git and pull request workflows
Job Requirements
- University degree (minimum 3-year Bachelor's) in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field
- Expert-level professional experience, including:
- At least 9 years of relevant experience after obtaining a 4-year university degree, or
- At least 10 years of relevant experience after obtaining a 3-year university degree
- Extensive experience developing enterprise Java applications
- Strong experience designing and implementing microservices architectures
- Experience with messaging technologies and event-driven systems
- Strong experience with OAuth authentication and authorization
- Experience developing REST APIs
- Experience writing unit and integration tests
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
- Strong experience with Docker and Kubernetes
- Experience using Git and pull request workflows
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
- Strong understanding of secure coding principles, logging, and auditing
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Professional proficiency in English
- Nice to Have
- Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud
- Experience with messaging platforms such as Apache Kafka or RabbitMQ
- Experience with Spring Boot and the Spring ecosystem
- Experience with DevOps practices and infrastructure automation
