Test Automation Engineer

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable automated test solutions for web, API, and mobile applications • Implement AI-assisted automation using tools such as Windsurf and Katalon Studio AI Assist to improve automation efficiency and reduce script development time • Build and maintain automated test suites using Playwright, Katalon Studio, and other modern automation frameworks • Champion Shift-Left testing practices by enabling automated smoke testing during pull requests and throughout the software development lifecycle • Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines using GitLab and Jenkins to provide continuous feedback on application quality • Create and maintain automation standards, reusable frameworks, and best practices across engineering teams • Support multiple product teams with automation strategy, framework implementation, and troubleshooting • Analyze test execution results, identify quality risks, and communicate findings to technical stakeholders • Collaborate with software engineers, Product Owners, and DevOps teams to improve application quality and testability • Continuously evaluate emerging AI-driven testing technologies and recommend improvements to the automation ecosystem
Job Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in Quality Engineering with a strong focus on test automation
- Proven experience designing and developing automated testing frameworks for enterprise applications
- Expert-level experience with: Playwright Katalon Studio Selenium Sauce Labs Micro Focus ALM (Application Lifecycle Management)
- Hands-on experience integrating automated testing into CI/CD pipelines using GitLab, Jenkins, or similar platforms
- Experience automating both UI and API testing
- Strong programming and scripting skills
- Experience working within Agile development teams
- Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate across cross-functional teams

Lead Performance Test Engineer
