Role Description As Head of Client Advisory Services at goodcarbon, you will own the value proposition and delivery of our Portfolio Management Services line. You will design, execute, and manage carbon removal procurement programs that enable leading companies to achieve net-zero in line with their sectoral guardrails. In this capacity, you will oversee key account management for leading Enterprise clients. Additionally, to develop the proposition forward, you will be accountable for our partnerships which complement our service offering. This is a key leadership role at the intersection of client success, impact delivery, and business growth. - Take full accountability for the value proposition, offer creation, and program delivery of our Portfolio Management Services, ensuring exceptional client satisfaction and measurable impact outcomes. - Drive program execution on time and budget, managing complex global procurement processes and multi-stakeholder relationships with precision and transparency. - Lead our Enterprise key account management team with accountability for client NPS. Identify and pursue upsell opportunities, expanding the scope of client engagements through additional services and portfolio diversification. - Develop existing partnerships to complement the goodcarbon offer and identify new partnership opportunities. Execute programs in alignment with partners. Manage the PMO. - Maintain deep market intelligence on voluntary carbon markets, Nature-based Solutions, and evolving standards to inform portfolio strategy and strengthen goodcarbon’s leadership position. - Partner with internal teams (Sales, Category Management, and Sourcing) to align offerings, ensure data integrity, and deliver best-in-class solutions across the carbon value chain. Qualifications - Bachelor or Master’s degree from a leading university. - 4-5 years of work experience in a top-tier strategy consulting firm, leading ESG consulting firm, or Big 4 consulting environment. - Experience in carbon markets more generally and/or Nature-based Solutions more specifically is required. - Proven track record in project and program leadership. - Excellent client management, communication, negotiation, and analytical skills. Ability to convey complex ideas clearly and influence at the executive level. - Strategic thinker with a hands-on, collaborative leadership style and strong execution skills. - Entrepreneurial mindset with a proactive, results-oriented approach. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment. - Fluency in English is required; German proficiency is an advantage.
