Senior IBMi, BT Administrator

• Administration and operation IBMi environments • Management of LPARs, virtualization, HMC and VIOS • Maintaining infrastructure in operational condition (MCO / RUN) with high availability constraints • Upgrade and maintenance of IBMi systems and related components • System monitoring, alerting, and incident resolution • Participation in PRA / DR exercises • Security hardening and compliance with infrastructure standards • Industrialization and automation of operating tasks • Production Plan management (batch jobs) • Application management • Contribution to infrastructure evolution and modernization initiatives • Technical support and guidance for projects running on IBMi platforms • BT activities (Batch management with Advanced Job Scheduler etc.)
Job Requirements
- Experience in IBMi (AS/400) system administration
- Hands‑on experience with:
- o LPAR management
- o HMC
- o VIOS
- Operational knowledge of production environments with 24/7 constraints
- Experience with monitoring and incident management
- Good understanding of system security and operational best practices
- BT activities (Batch management with Advanced Job Scheduler, Fortra Robot Schedule, etc.):
- o Job and Schedule creation / modification
- o Job and Schedule management (run / stop / cancel)
- o IBMi CL programming skills (code analysis, code creation, code modification)
