Senior Data Engineer

• Design, build, and maintain scalable and efficient cloud-based data pipelines. • Develop and support ETL/ELT processes for data integration and transformation. • Ensure compliance with information security and data governance standards. • Maintain and enhance cloud data environments, including data lakes and data warehouses. • Collaborate closely with engineering teams, product teams, and stakeholders. • Contribute to technical research, continuous improvement, and adoption of new technologies. • Maintain code quality using version control systems and CI/CD practices. • Support the strategic evolution of data engineering solutions and infrastructure.
Job Requirements
- 5+ years of experience building and supporting ETL solutions using cloud-native services.
- Experience developing data integration pipelines.
- Hands-on experience with Python and PySpark.
- Advanced PL/SQL and complex query optimization.
- Experience with CloudFormation and Terraform.
- Experience implementing monitoring and alerting for ETL processes.
- Experience working with cloud storage and data validation solutions.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience working in Agile environments.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools.
- Experience with BI systems (PowerBI, Tableau).
- Understanding of AWS services like S3, SNS, Secret Manager, Athena, and Lambda.
- Experience with version control and project management tools.
Benefits
- The candidate must be employed in our company at 0.125 FTE under UoP (employment contract) and additionally under a service contract (B2B or mandate contract).
- Payment terms - up to 60 days.
- Work will be performed using client-provided equipment.

Role Description We're partnering with a growing organisation looking to expand its data team with the addition of a Senior Data Engineer.
